Idk why but personally, I would play with the rubato even more, like finishing or transitioning phrases are going at a much slower pace for a sec and then back to ‘a tempo’ when we start a new phrase, this makes it sound much more elegant and full when you let the piano take in and bring the harmony more forward, giving it that waltz feel. Even though it may sound a bit less stable at first, it becomes much more clear when the slight drag of the tempo connects with the melody. Overall, the playing a music sounds very lovely and pretty as I’m hearing this piece for the first time.

She used the word "lush" to describe it and it has been almost 10 years since I graduated with a music degree. "Lush" is still the perfect way to describe this piece. You showed Chopin his due respect.
