- The brand new Embraer E195-E2 HB-AZK of Helvetic Airways is seen taking-off at Bern in Switzerland on a very rainy day. The flight was bound for Heraklion, Greece. The Embraer E195-E2 has excellent performance and is one of the quietest and most fuel-efficient aircraft on the market!

Danke vielmals! Meistens ist die E195-E2 am Samstag in Bern. Das grösste Flugzeuge überhaupt für Bern! Heute wurde jedoch eine E190-E2 eingesetzt, was natürlich auch schön ist. Aber die E195-E2 ist natürlich schon das Sahnehäubchen auf der Torte :)

Matt my good friend, you are the all weather guy, lol, great catch. When the pilots hold the jet while spooling up, there are normally 2 pre-departure checks you can perform, 1 is ground brakes as the jet should not move when spooled up to the designated power/rpm's, & 2 is make sure the engines are reaching designated power/thrust rpm's. V2 is the speed of no rotate & point of no return,( if you can't reach V1 to rotate you will go off the runway on your landing gear)) V1 is rotate, all calculated by weight, runway length. Flying into "the soup" is no fun. Talking about fuel-efficiency, Helvetic has competition from Swiss with their A220s.
Thanks Herbert. Yes the modern A220 is also great and fuel efficient. But the Embraer E2 are even better.
@@matthiashaenni Taking into account seating capacity Airbus argues their Bombardier C-Class modification has the upper hand. Any way one looks at it these two are truly best in the class.
