I am sooo glad that I’m not the only one who did not believe the words coming out of Rob’s mouth every time he got in front of a camera!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬
….and Congratulations on one year as well! I love the show! 💥💥💥💥💥
29:30 heard about a guy testing for an FD. He aced everything, was top of the list. Went to the interview and rocked it, BUT right as he walked out the door he said “and hey, if this doesn’t work out, I can always go back to painting houses.” They said the jaws of the chiefs were on the floor. Dude is still painting houses to this day.
I never liked podcasts but yall are cool and ive listened to the last 10. plus i loved hearing brent call out bob O'Neil. Rock on fuckers
Congratulations on making it to a year! It ain't easy.
Just into the beginning of this episode and I agree greatly with being resourceful and finding ways to get things done. For instance, I used the internet to teach myself C programming and took placement tests in university to skip those $2k intro courses in computer engineering. I spent $30 on a site called Udemy, and I passed university level placement tests. Have purpose and act deliberately.
The internet is just an amazing means of information transfer, but it can be and feel endless and overwhelming. Having a strong mental foundation and moral compass is an innate requirement, because the internet is one of the most powerful tools of human influence to date. A double edged sword with both sides being very sharp.
Always a pleasure to catch the podcast. 1%ers now.
Love the show! Keep it up boys💪👊🇺🇸 happy birthday AHP
Would love to see you guys deep dive into the Navy vs the Air Force regarding what actually happened on Takur Ghar. This is where CCT John Chapman died and was awarded a medal of honor, the devgru TL who left him also received one and the Navy tried to block Chapmans MOH upgrade as it conflicted with their claims of what happened in that mountain. The intercept has a great story covering this as well. Love the content cheers
And we did that episode!
@brenttucker6246 I must have missed it, could you toss me the link!
