@@koen3033 I haven't bought it yet as I had a few unexpected financial commitments but I will be ordering one sometime soon. I do have the wee GS Travel Mahogany E and it is s remarkable guitar, especially for the price. I believe it is still only £111 and comes with a decent gig bag. It is the guitar I always pick up at home and brilliant for throwing in the back of the car when I am on my travels. It is definitely good enough to gig with at small venues : acoustic nights / open mic's etc. I do like the look and sound of the CLA 15MCE VS though.
Sounds really good. I'd like to learn the guitar. Does this mahogny top do justice with pop or would you recommend the spruce top version. This vintage sunburst looks stunning and the spruce doesnt look as nice as an this.
Hey Jonas, I wish you every success in learning to play guitar brother. This is as lovely a guitar as your money can buy and I would highly recommend it. The mahogany body ( with a solid mahogany top ) gives a beautiful warm, rich, natural tone and the Fishman Presys II is a lovely preamp system which comes with a built in tuner ( very handy for a beginner ) It would be an ideal instrument for " pop " and is of such a high quality that it will serve you for many years. In my honest opinion, it plays and sounds like a thousand pound guitar. Good luck brother. Pete x
Hi, I just bought this guitar form a local shop where it was in display, the stings are very stiff for me. Will a set of Elixir Nanoweb Light Acoustic Phosphor Bronze 16052 12-52 be more friendly? Thanks in advance
Hi how are you . Now I have put some D'Addario NB1152 and although at the beginning their sound is a little bright in a few days they improve their tone. They are 11-52 nickel-bronze and I like them a lot. I hope I have helped you
@@guitarboix5606 tks for the answer, probably will do indeed. I also have to change the one already installed in the bottom, my strap safety locks don't fit in it... Did you change it as well ?
@@Geoffinho No, I did not do it because in that area, the wood is very thin and I was not sure. Pay attention to that button (made of plastic) since sometimes it comes out of the hole with the risk that the guitar will fall to the ground if you have it on the strap. Greetings
@@guitarboix5606 actually I took it off... I thought it was screwed but it was only "plugged" in. I will buy a new one made of solid wood and screw the saftey lock to it ;) Beside that im really happy with this guitar, I find it really good though it is my first steel acoustic guitar.
I haven't been able to play Taylor but I think it should sound a little better although this Harley Benton is comfortable and it sounds crisp and sweet. The bad thing about the H.B brand is that you can't try it in any store except its own in Germany
I have the CLA-15M, and it's such a disappointment. I stopped to look at your video as I noticed your tuning gear is different to mine. Mine has these absolutely hopeless, cheap plastic gear nobs that are not only rubbish at keeping the strings in tune, they also snap. Ive had Benton replace them for free which is something, but they informed me that you can't swap them out/upgrade, as the holes are not a standard size. It's so annoying, as I think the rest of the guitar is really well made, but the tuning gear is the biggest heap of crap I've ever used. Whats even more annoying, having seen your version, I just checked the VS model of mine which has the same solid metal tuning gear as yours, and its €100 LESS in price than what I paid for my junk! How annoying. Can you tell me please, does yours stay in tune for a decent amount of time or are you constantly having to tune it? Does the tuning gear feel nice and solid and smooth to turn? Mine feels like it will snap at any second, it creaks. Hate it. Im wondering if I could at least swap mine out for the same gear as yours.
The best Hb cla-15 record on RUclips ! well done!
I have been thinking about buying this guitar for a while now. Your beautiful playing has made me decide to go ahead with the purchase. Thank you. x
Hey peter, I am thinking about getting this guitar as well. Do you have your’s already and is it what you expected?

Harley Benton guitars are mint. Just ordered the CLA 28 VE WN. Very nice playing by the way 👏
I hope you enjoy it, I think it is also a good guitar. Thank you for your comment!👍
Do you still have the guitar? How does it fair after some time?
Thank you ! I take it ! :)
Could you provide the dimensions of the body. Mini jumbo???

Yes, you will have to install it yourself, the factory does not include it.

Hello man, nice review. You might want to check 'the whole world in his hands' by Eric Roche, you should like it... Cheers
Great sounding guitar and great playing by the way.
I’m considering on of these do you recommend them?
Thank you for your comment. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a guitar that, even though it is inexpensive, is a good instrument.

Cheers will bear that in mind and thanks again
Is the quality of the sound is comparable to taylor gs or taylor academy? I know price is way too different

how loud is this guitar without amp?? in the real she sounds worm>>>??
Not as loud as a dreadnought but has a nice "crunchy" sound
