The thinkcentre is actually nicer/easier to work on. The cpu is under the heatsink, which just unscrews and then you can switch out the CPU. The bottom lid pops off too, which will give you access to the NVME drive and there are two ram slots.

You did not show the most interesting thing, one could not imagine from a closed box: The fan noise. This would keep me off of buying these tiny PCs.
They are about as noisy as the big ones.
