    Using this model since Feb 2021. One beauty is you can VESA mount this behind a monitor using a rack Lenovo sell ( for $16 last year), and use alt-p on keyboard to power it up(UEFI setting). If your monitor is mounted on a wall or a rack, then, Lenovo has another rack model around $35 you can sandwich mount this PC.

      I usually just go with the tiny in one monitor, but that is a great solution as well!

    Is the upgrade from i5 10100t to i5 11400t really worth? I think the performance boost is kinda low and can't be noticed for normal use

    I am sorry to ask, is CAD $840 a good price for this, with 16 GB DDR4 3200MHz. I have been offered this. I feel the base frequency is a bit low.

    Well, that 2,5" caddy supposedly should come out to see if there is any pcie slot underneath.

    HI, nice video. May I ask how this unit is on fan noise? Some of these SFF can be a bit noisy, even at idle.
    Thanks.

      I've noticed that as well, but not on this unit.

    The memory and nvme is located at the bottom panel. Is it at risk of getting wet in case of spilled drink?

      Sure, but you can also stand this up vertically.

    Hi! Is it possible to undervolt the CPU in the m70q(i5) or m75q (AMD 5650GE)? Or do you have experience, if the AMD version gets hotter and also noiser, than the Intel i5 version? And how about i3 version (is this cooler than the i5)? Thank you!

    • @ZipTieNinja
      @ZipTieNinja  9 месяцев назад +1

      I've never noticed any differences between Intel an AMD as far as heat on these. I do not believe any Factory Lenovo allows you to change any attributes like a overclocking custom motherboard would.

    What is the difference between the M70q, M75q, M80q, and M90q? It seems like they overlap on specs...

    • @ZipTieNinja
      @ZipTieNinja  Год назад +1

      Some do and some don't. Each are available with a variety of CPUs, RAM, and Storage. Generally speaking, the higher the number the higher end the system. Yes a low number machine may be offered with high specs and a high number machine offered with low specs, but generally the higher number ones have dedicated graphics options and features that are not offered on the lower systems. Does that make sense? I know it can be a bit convoluted

    Does these Thinkcentres still have overheating problems some users have reported in the past ~5years? Have they added any more heat pipes etc?

    • @ZipTieNinja
      @ZipTieNinja  2 года назад +4

      I've sold a bunch of these and had zero issues. The only ones I've heard heat issues with at all have dedicated graphics.

      Yes but don’t expect to get high fps. The highest is probably 60 fps since the monitor is probably only 60hz.
