One Year of Full Time Travel | The Traveling Texans

We set off in August of 2022 to travel full time around the world for one year, and we did it. Here is a peek of year traveling abroad. Having been back in Texas for two months, this video makes me miss the traveling, the people, the moments, and the memories we made. We met some of the most kind and beautiful people in the world on this journey, and this video captures them as well.

We are The Traveling Texans- Matt and Meghan, our kids Ryan and Heidi, and my cousin Christy! We live in New Braunfels, TX and are creating content sharing our adventures of living abroad for one year. We had a house fire in 2021 that destroyed everything we own, but did not destroy our home. What I mean by that is our home is where we are together, not our house.
This trip will afford us the time together we do not always get due to work, daycare, and hectic evenings and weekends. It will allow us to slow down and enjoy being together, being with our kids during these formative and fun years.

Looks all nice, like it's really possible to do even with kids... But how do you ACTUALLY do it? I've been trying to figure out how to make traveling with kids enjoyable. You can't do crazy or mildly dangerous stuff. Even walking through a busy city could be a challenge when having to watch 2 kids while still trying to actually take in the city. You can't really go vor a walk because kids are bored/exhausted after a mile. You can't go hiking because they're exhausted after half a mile 😆You can't go explore the city at night or go for dinner as a couple because the kids need to be in bed... How do you make it fun?
