Watched the Hardlore ep with Jon from Vein, remember him talking about how 100Demons was what got him into the Hxc scene. Superrr cool seeing him right up front and interact with Bruce pretty much the whole set

I wouldn't classify them as metalcore, to me and many others in the Northeast these guys are the definition of Hardcore. They did a demo tape and in the eyes of the lord with Bruce, and then they did the self titled with Pete. One of my favorite bands, but would love to see Pushbutton Warfare reunite for a show, never will happen without Justin and rightfully so.
If you can find it, there’s a 2 track demo from 2007(?) with Bruce doing vocals again. Also allegedly they got a record written it’s just not been a priority to get it finished. I think Pete was doing more with his Oi! band at the time. Maybe someday.

@@joshmorley9292 Their music is purely influenced by All Out War, Merauder, Earth Crisis = classic metalcore stuff. Why is it important? It is not in a sense that for fuck's sake it is all just angry music and we are splitting hairs here. On the other hand, metalcore is a sub genre that suffered/changed the most regarding it's associations in all fronts to it's degradation. So when we say that "this band is metalcore", than it better should be if you know what I mean :)

Brings me back, most epic gig i saw was Death Threat’s “last show,” with 100 demons, the all mighty MADBALL, Death Before Dishonor and Swear to God. I think everyone at some point at that show hugged someone next to them for some sort of safety

I grew up in DC. Went to about a million shows (hardcore, oi, RAC, you name it). Hardcore used to be what you wish it was but became as dangerous as a dead ladybug thanks to pseudo humanitarian doofs like you. It’s nothing but a PC sewing circle nowadays and takes the same stance on issues as CNN, Old Navy and Subway. It’s not dangerous or rebellious anymore, it’s just predictable, flaccid and sad.
