VERY informative! One thing you might want to try if you're not getting water out onto the floor is to turn the machine off then press the trigger for 30 seconds. You might have lost prime to the pump itself. Happens a LOT especially if you don't use it that much. AND if that fails to get it to work, take the clear plastic cover off that fits over the rollers, flip it over and you see a series of small plastic 'nipples' with a small hole in each. THATS where the water comes out to the rollers. They DO get plugged. Use a straight pin or a needle to clean out. That'll happen if you put it away 'dirty'. If you see black, they're plugged and water won't get to the rollers.
Thanks so much, saved the day. Also, I have lost suction suddenly if I accidentally knock the hose attachment flap open while cleaning under something close to the ground.
If you have my issue, no need for disassembly. So there is a clear piece of plastic between the beaters. It allows the water to soak the carpet. It has very fine holes that need to be unclogged with a needle. If you’ve used it before and let it sit, the holes will/can be clogged. That was my issue. Water worked fine out of the handheld hose dispenser, which led me to flip it over and find that clear plastic bar between the beaters. You will notice the holes will be black or brown and they should be clear. Grab a needle and some compressed air. Done.
Yeah I had same issue, no water would go onto the floor. After partially deconstructing the unit and determining that water was going down to base of unit, I took a closer look at the piece with the 2 green thumb buttons. I was fortunate enough to have a 5/8ths clear hose that fit perfectly over the the feed area that has 2 little black washers. I held on tight (the 2nd time..I was wet :( ) and the warm water started blasting through the row of holes 1st one..then 3 and so on. I hit it with a cheapo paint brush and got them all working. This will be part of the routine every time I use this thing now.
Can you add a photo of the holes you are sharing to clean out with a needle? I have no water spray to the floor. Water for the hand tool and the foot press power shot button on the right base of the machine works fine.
@@MaraDroiiD they are literally in the clear hood down where the water comes out. turn over the vacuum and look at the clear hood that covers the beater. there are holes in the entire length of it. those were clogged and a needle in each one opened the pathway for water to flow out.
Thank you thank you thank you - this was my problem. Your advice stopped me from throwing my machine out of the window in frustration! 2 mins with a needle and all was fixed 🤩👍👍👍👍👍
wayne, thanks for your direction, and you made my life easier. Im a mechanical engineer and just completed Resorts World in Vegas . it was easier building the casino than the shampoo Machine. Thanks 😂
Thank you SO much! I haven’t been able to use my machine for a couple of months because no solution was coming out and I couldn’t figure out why! I watched how you put the solution container back and the water test on the bottom. I realized I wasn’t seating the container correctly that’s all it was, yay! Thanks again 😊
Thank you! Checked the flow and was fine. Realized all the little pin holes in the top clear piece were plugged. Used a needle and kitchen sink - cleaned out in 3 minutes. Thanks again!
The bottom nozzle of the water jug can get bent and misaligned so it won't seat into the receptacle correctly. The "heatwave" function softens the plastic so when you take it off to fill it, you have to be careful not to bend it.
Been working in a vacuum repair shop for 5 months and this is the best and most helpful video I've seen yet. And I am a massive Hendrix fan. Your artwork is incredible. BTW-My name is Kurt, not Roger. He's the owner. :)
Nice work. Holy cow these machines are like effing lemons. Multiple models with the same extremely common problem. Tons of people having the same issue doesn't mean the customers are idiots, it means Bissell engineered a poor product. If there's a tendency for something to clog, those areas should be user serviceable for proper cleaning and it should be documented in the manual so we don't have to go complaining about it. Good grief.
Actually, the machine is good! The problem is in their troubleshooting and in their instructions in the manual… They just don’t provide a whole lot of information. But there is a lot of information on RUclips. Maybe Bissell can see what the customers are saying and update their manual!?
Very nice paintings & deck is nice🛹... Thank you for the quick fix vacuum 😊 My vac has bn sitting for almost 3 yrs and was only used twice. Now it works but doesn't spray water 😬I seen you take this apart, but not sure if I can do this! lol 😅 But I'll try and come back to let you know what happened! 😅🤞🏽
I tried to follow this video but I couldn’t get the hose off and water was slowly coming out on the main hose at the end but I put it back together tried it. No luck took it apart again and then noticed one of the hose clamps was caught on the fitting and I fixed that put it back together and now it works like a dream
This video didn't necessarily solve my problem but helped me from losing my mind until I figured out why mine wasn't working haha. I will keep all this in mind Incase I need it in the future. FYI mine was caused from the top part of the foot, inside of it the row of little nozzles were clogged I used a needle and boom working.
THANK YOU for showing how to disassemble all the parts! I got as far as testing for water flow. I do have water flow and I do have it set to MAX clean, but the water flow is very light and inconsistent. Any tips on what to check from there?
I am not getting any water down to the tube you disconnected at 4:55. Trigger works, resevior is in good working condition, reservoir gasket is in good working condition and in the correct position. I removed the handle and manually pushed the button that would normally be pushed by the rod within the handle and I get no water out. What should I do next?
For at home type repairs I would see if a friend has the same cleaner and borrow their tank. Test it. More often, the tank is the issue. Also double check the slider on the side, make sure it's set to max. Keep me posted-
@@monroevacs Thank you so much for the quick response and all of the info shared in your videos. After getting my machine reassembled, I put it on MAX and the spot clean began to work, which it previously hadn't. However the main spray output still does not work.
@natural_ness1796 - Interesting 🤔 the last time that happened to me, the problem was the tank. I still would rule out the max slider. I know it's a pain but double check to make its clipped in proper ( while putting it back together) also for good measure change the pump belt
@@monroevacs You were right about the tank being the problem. Somehow the tank was warped by heat on the bottom and the water outlet no longer sat low enough for the little black pin inside the spout to be depressed. My husband used his heat gun to reshape the tank and the water flows again.
Hi Wayne I was finally able to get through to Bissell on Wednesday which wasn't easy about my Revolution pet 2 motor was smoking and grinding so I'll be receiving a new one tomorrow quite remarkable another company that is good is Greenworks they too sent a replacement power washer after some phone troubleshooting ...had a problem with the electrical plug ciao!
Hi Thanks so much for the video. It helped me to follow the steps to check the washer not spraying water. Unfortunately the steps did not solve the problem. I want help where to get pump and how much it cost. You did recommend to buy the white tank and the motor.
My vacuum stopped squirting the water out. Long story short. I ruined the water tank by adding boiling water to it and something happened to the bottom of it. All I did was swapped out the water tank $40 on Amazon and it worked like new again.
Thanks for your insight about the boiling water. I too had used boiling water and subsequently experienced a permanent loss of water flow. However, I was able to easily fix the problem without buying a new water tank (see below). I was suspicious boing water was the culprit, but could not image by what mechanism it would cause damage. Sure enough, tipped off by your comment, examination of the tank revealed that the nipple region (that houses the lower valve) was obviously bent out of alignment, such that it was no longer able to engage with the receiving port in the base of the cradle. Luckily, the nipple itself (the 3/4" cylindrical portion) was seemingly undistorted, given that the valve operated just fine (no leaks). TO FIX IT, I simply filled a portion of the tank with boiling water, and (wearing leather gloves) I grabbed the nipple between forefinger and thumb, and (with very little force) was able to tweak it back into alignment. "Alignment" was basically an eyeball determination that the nipple was once more parallel to the axis (direction) of insertion. I'm sure somewhere in the manual it says DON'T USE BOILING WATER! My guess, however, is that even overly hot water (not necessarily boiling) could cause this distortion - especially if you fill it, as I did, with the tank resting on a surface, such that the nipple (in contact with the surface) is forced to bear the weight of the water. It's best to hold the tank by the handle while filling.
@@joerollerbladeI did the same thing and fixed it the same way. It says on the tank itself not to exceed 140° F. But you’re right, when it gets too hot, the plastic tank gets soft and deforms. The nipple outlet actually caves in causing it to not be long enough to reach the intake on the machine.
Thank you for all your very Helpful tips shared in so many videos! Would you be able share how to replace the red rubber seal for the water tank?? Been searching for a how to video but not finding one. Somehow mine got messed up & is not dispensing water (unless i press down on the tank, to help it "seat" properly). I have this model you're sharing about in this video, Bissel proheat 2x revolution pet pro.
@@monroevacs Ooh Thank You sir 😁!! You are a blessing to so many! Seems it should be easy. But (often) taking pieces off or apart (on various objects) is easy but get pieces put back into place is not always as easy (for me anyways).
you tube does it again, thanks for posting, my lower suction hose came of its fitting, poor poor design by Bissell, when you place unit in upright locked position its pulls on the lower suction hose so much that it pulls out of its hose fitting socket, stupid design. even though you didnt touch base on my specific problem your video helped me take it apart to fixt my problem, Im sure it wull pull out again eventually, so I have to be careful not to place in locked upright position I guess.
Very well done on troubleshooting. Although I have the Bissel Deep Clean Professional Pet shampooer and the brush motor works for a small time and then stops. Removed, cleaned brushes nothing binding them and they move freely. Any suggestions? motor, switch, etc??? thx
sorry for the delay-It may be the micro switch (I believe the deep clean pro uses a micro switch, located near the back wheel) otherbthan that check fpr broken or ripped wiring
Hay, thank you allot for the video its started me down the right path. The section thats just for the hose, the small motor looking thing for the return water that has a shaft that sticks out which connects two the two belts, can that motor stop, or have somw kind of obstrution preventing it from moving the shaft at all? My gf used it and when i got it back the brushes stoped working i took it apart and i see that the one longer belt was broke, like it stoped turning and burnt a hole. I then noticed that the shaft which connects the two isnt moving at all.
Nice, but the water flows just by pulling the tigger even when you dont have the unit plugged in and turned on. What I have is a trickle of water when using the upright power head and a strong spray of water when using the hose attacfhment. Is it the same motor feeding both final sprayers? All lines are clear of impediments, blown out with compressed air - just no spray on the brushes.
Did everything in the videos for Bissell proheat model 9300 -heater not bad but cleaned up and checked inlets and outlets, cleaned sprayer they were also ok took line off solenoid which did nothing - only thing I see is that the forward hose out of the heater is filled with foam after I try it -any suggestions - Thanks
Ok did all that. Seems to get water through just fine. Even checked that last part where you said could be clogged and that's spraying water too. Nothing comes out though when I put the machine back together. And the clear tray on top isn't clogged. I'm at a loss
If water is coming out with/without plugged in, check water tank first. If not the problem, check water shutoff valve located at the bottom of handle. I replaced mine it was stuck in open position.
This is great. Is there a video for if water isn’t coming out of the connection? I separated the hose like you said and no water is coming out. I even sucked on it. Is there a part two?
First I would like to say thank you, thank you so much for teaching me how to troubleshoot my Bissell ProHeat 2x Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner. Thanks to you, I might have an idea as to why water is not coming out of the Main hose line (as demonstrated toward the end of this video) . I checked all three ways of putting out water (Main motorhead, hose, and spotter); no water comes out. I checked in all 3 settings (Express, Deep, and Max Clean); no change. I checked the trigger, which still has resistance. And I checked the gasket on the water tank. I do not know how I can check, let alone fix the auto-feeder that receives the water from the clean reservoir tank. I'm sure you're a very busy man, and may not have time to reply to this. But Do you by chance know what I can do PLEASE.
How would I take the whole stick handle off. I pull the trigger and get resistance but I hear squeeking near where the neck of the handle meets the clean water tank. My problem is that I'm not getting water coming out of the bottom. Sometimes it trickles out but I have to pull the trigger multiple times. I'm gunna try and take it apart as you did in the video and check anything that seems out of place. Let ya know how it goes!
I admit to using almost boiling water in the clean water supply tank, which may be causing no water to come out at the foot. I watched the Bissell video that shows how to test to make sure water will come out of tank, mine does. Then it says if you don't see any air bubbles in the water when you set the tank in place, buy a new tank. Have you found this part to be true? I do not see air bubbles, but my tank does sit firmly in place and does not seem warped.
Hmmm. The air bubble test is to see if the water made it to the reservoir dam. That’s where It waits for you to squeeze the trigger so it can make it way to the floor. Even if it sit on the unit in a way that appear to the naked eye as ok, it my still be slightly off and not spray properly. If you know of someone who own a unit like your ask them to allow you to test their tank in you unit. This way you don’t have to buy one in order to test your hypothesis.
@@monroevacs I have another question for you. If you look under the clean water tank, is the red rubber seal supposed to go up over the top of clear plastic tank neck? On mine, the red is under the top ridge of the neck. I saw someone mention this might be an issue, but it was a video for an older Proheat or a more professional level model.
@vickimorris7531 the red rubber gasket can cause the tank to stop feeding water to the unit. Although on the newer units it very hard to dislodged the gasket but it is possible. Do you remember ever taking it off
Thank you for the video. Motor is running but the brush drive axle (whatever part this is at 11 minute mark) is a bit rusty and doesn't turn. It has burnt thru two belts already, do you have any tips to fix?
Do you have a solution for the clean shot that will not stop spraying? It’s brand new. I hate to exchange it because this is my second one. I exchanged the first one because it dripped too much.
I bought one and it worked perfect the 1st use. Second use water did not spray out of the handle nozzle so I returned it and ordered the same one. Again first use and it worked great! Tried using it again and no water comes out and the bottom shooter would not stop spraying. Trying not to return it again but want to fix it once not take it apart after each use. Thank you for your great video now I will have to take it apart again. I thoroughly cleaned it and that was not the problem so I'll have to try again.
Omgosh! Thank you so much! Liked and subscribed! But mine still doesn't let out water. T_T Edit: For some reasons, my spray nozzles for the bottom was clogged. It created this air gap between the black tube and the nozzle path which didn't let water flow. After cleaning it out, the water flows now, but... I think the pump itself is also weak too, so I'll probably need to replace it. I don't think the system was design to rely on the pumps but use gravity.
FYI there’s a switch on the side that limits the water flow depending on what your cleaning. I thought I had something blocking the hose however I had the switch in the cleaning mode which allows the least amount of water.
Mine was jammed in between the two settings. So no water was passing through. Tore the whole machine apart just to find out the switch was stuck. I unstuck it and it worked fine.
I was able to correct my clean shot issue with this model your working on here. Thank you! Now I began to wash my carpet and discovered the rollers aren’t functioning properly. Moving forward or backwards? I checked both belts and neither are broke. I’m having issue placing the larger belt as another person indicates a red pulley. There isn’t any such part. Please help! My dogs are driving me crazy, they are aging (as we all are) but accident seem to happen more frequently. MaryLou
Sorry for the delay, just saw this comment. Ok… the clean shot is part of the basic Bissell 2x models and they don’t use the pump beltZ the use 2 geared belts. A smaller belt from the brush motor to the 1st brush and the larger belt to connect the 2 brushes. This larger belt is on the opposite side. Inspect both sides of the brush roll
@@monroevacs I discovered both belts. Could not get the larger on to remain on the brush roller. What am I doing wrong? Something so simple is so hard? Thank you do much for responding. I’m sure you are a busy man.
Hi.. thanks for the detailed video.. I have a question.. when I was starting to put it back together, I noticed light weight rectangle gasket on my counter near the cleaner. It has rounded edges and is about 2” x 1”. is it from the cleaner or do you think it was from something else that was on my counter?
Thank you so much for this video! Is there anyway you could make a video on how to change the lower/foot hose on the Bissell Revolution? It seems like such an easy fix but shew 😭. Thanks for being awesome!

YOU ROCKED THAT VIDEO SIR!!!
Mine won't stop spraying water whether the trigger is pulled or not and water is spraying out of the attachmentpanel for the upholstery hose. If I hook up the upholstery hose, no water comes out of it, but I think that's because the water won't stop running from the main unit being sprayed as if the trigger is being held down.. Water is spraying so much water non stop, that it runs through a main tank in a minute. anyone have any ideas and what's going on?
Sounds like the auto receiver is open - when you sit the tank on the unit. The auto receiver acts as a dam until you press the trigger- so either the trigger is stuck in the on position or the auto receiver is stuck in the open position
@nickdial8528 its possible. Check out this video- It’s about a leaking tank but I’m breaking it down all the way to the auto receiver so you can test it - Bissell Revolution breakdown- The dripping, leaking tank #bissell ruclips.net/video/2RYACfNgKBc/видео.html
Could you do a stropdown of the machine the bissell proheat 2x revolution pet because that's what I did and I had to take out the lower hose that connects to the bottom floor head and to the external attachment hose I need to know how to replace it and put it back together because I bought a new internal hose to replace it with
@@monroevacs alright that would be great because there is a ton of screws and the easy part was taking the machine apart but the hard part is putting it back together
Hi, just wondering the troubleshoot if trigger is working correctly but water not coming out of hose when unit is on and trigger is pulled? Any help would be greatly appreciated
The tank might be warped- if the water comes out when you test it with a pencil or your finger then the valve is working. Think back to see if someone put boiling hot water in the tank. You may have to replace the tank
Hmm. It could be in your handle. Imagine the trigger applying more force when you are pushing the machine forward and less when you pull the handle backwards. Check to see if your handle is secure and check to see any cracks in the trigger resistant
@@monroevacs Thank you so much! Yesterday, I followed the video and took the handle off. It's in great working order. I will for cracks! It use to distribute forward and backwards. I will let you know what I find?!
Hi have you done a video on this bissell Carpet cleaner. My motor went out any tips how to change it. I don’t want to buy a new machine I replace my parts when needed. Please thanks
Hi I have a video on replacing the Bissell 2x motor in my playlist “ Bissell Tips” click the bell because I’m working on a Bissell Revolution motor video
Hi, great video. I had a problem with the water not feeding through the brush chamber. One of the two black o-rings had become worn and was not creating a proper seal. Do you happen to know what size those o-rings are? Bissell sent me a new brush chamber, but I can't seem to find the o-ring size listed anywhere, and it is probably a reasonably common problem. Thanks.
I have the opposite problem. The water doesn't shut off. There is resistance in the spray lever but the water just dumps out of the reservoir. How do you take it apart to get to the area where the problem is?
We have the same bissel that you are working on in this video. no water is coming out of the machine. The brush cover and sides are already off when the video starts, i don't want to break something, but can someone give me advice on getting those pieces off?
Try this video ruclips.net/video/hdgjr2L5f1A/видео.html - there are other Bissell video in my playlist visit the channel page and you can browse the list
Tried everything and my machine still wont work. 😢handle and lever are good im not sure if it is sonething inside where the tank sits but how would i get in there to see??
Sometimes putting another on the unit will help you zero in on the problem. For example, if you’ve ever used hot water in your tank it can warp your tank just enough to cause this issue. Try replacing the tank
Mine is spraying from the bottom but not the hose I watched your other video and did the steps checking the button it is all pressing fine but no water from hose, quick shot and bottom shoots water just not either hose attachment. Any suggestions also machine is new out of box
Also I have a proheat 2x water tank seem to be seated properly, everything clicks into place, water comes out when I put a ballpoint pin head to the congestion area and the machine really works fine otherwise but no hose spray. The suction of both is good, can you break down the water flow from reservoir to pump to hose?
Sorry for the late response. It’s easier to troubleshoot when you have an extra hose. This way we can eliminate the hose as the problem. Assuming the hose is ok, the only thing I can say without the machine in front of me is to check to the solution flow is on max and clean out the post the the water flows from, next try running the unit and lift the hose lid then use a pen or screwdriver and lightly press the hole to see if water flows out. If not then that connection may need replacing. If it flows then replace the hose
Sound like a motor issue- the revolution is a simple set up No pcb boards- just switch cord and motor. Many units would auto shut off if they started overheating. Try running it without the dirty water tank and make sure no debris is blocking the suction port/ filter- if it shuts off again then you may need to replace the motor
My book says that if no water is spraying that I need to prime the pump by pressing something like an ink pen to prime the hose?? I pushed a pen into the little round thingy... but I saw no bubbles coming out so not sure if I did it in the correct place? No diagram. sigh
You may have to take the unit apart and check for the pump belt possibly disconnect the water hose line from the area that you stuck the pen in. check to see if the water at least reached that far.
I have no flow from the tank. Water comes out of the tank when I press the release on bottom so I poured water into the part the tank sits on and it pours out the bottom/handle of the machine, it doesn't flow through the hose at all. Now I can't figure out how to take the handle off to see if the hose came off inside.
Help!!! Bissell model 19863 Pet Pro 2X Revolution. Where the water flows down from tank it goes into a part that has two hoses attached. A large short hose and a long skinny hose. The large short hose goes into another part (which is the part I need I believe) which has two hoses attached and a spring on top. Both tubes travel down the right side to the brushes and I’m not getting water to flow. What is that part called, or item number, because no water flows (or air when testing) through it when pressing down on spring valve.
@@monroevacs thanks for the reply!! No, it’s where the little hole is in the back of where the handle meets the unit (roughly) but right below it on the inside. It is where the two hoses attach which travel down the right side. Basically you pull the trigger and it presses down upon the spring which (I believe) let’s the water from the tank flow downward (but mine doesn’t). I’ve taken the tubes off and pushed some low pressure air through the tubes which travel downward and it’s clear from there down, but not before to this point (between tank and this part at the beginning). Water will travel out of the tank into the first part but then leaks out of the back because it won’t flow through it. I took the piece off and nothing flows through whether I compress the spring down or not. Hope this helps.
It’s called the auto receiver but Bissell do not sell this part for this unit- Unfortunately the other auto receivers that they do sell, won’t fit this one. Find a Used part on eBay if possible
I have checked and water does come out of the tank and goes into the auto receiver, but there is where it seems to be stuck and will not flow downward and come out where the video shows around 6 minutes. I have tried to push air through and it will not go down the hose either. Sometimes a "little bit" of water will go, but 99.9% will not. I used really hot water in the tank and wondering if it melted something down the line inside the motor area, but the video says its gravity. Thoughts?
You may have to replace the pump- the water for the floor and the hose attachment travel a different path after a certain point. If you know of someone with the same unit, try borrowing their window nozzle for this test. If it sprays then I your nozzle may be clogged. If it doesn’t then I recommend replacing the pump.
I have the same but different model. It is black and orange. And I took it apart to clean the brushes and I was trying to get the entire front plastic off and now I messed up the wand hose. So when I put it back together it's draining my water. How do I take off the whole plastic??
Hmmm try pouring water directly in the auto receiver while squeezing the trigger. The auto receiver is the opening below the tank. It’s possible the tank is the problem. Also check the flow adjuster on the side of the unit make sure it’s on max
Hello from New Zealand. My bissell Pro heat 2x revolution pet isnt letting water down. I've pulled it a part and water is getting all the way through but when I snap on the roller cover it let's some water down, then stops. It's driving me bonkers. Please help🙏🏽 (I have cleaned the cover and run warm water through the inlet until water streams through the small jets)
Good diagnosis. I would try two things, if it’s possible. First try a different tank and nozzle. Maybe borrow from a friend or relative who has the same unit so you can test. Second check the flow adjuster on the side and make sure it’s set to max. Keep me posted
So you just started to touch on the problem I am having, which is there is no resistance on the trigger to squirt the water out. ( when your camera came off it's stand). How do I troubleshoot for that problem? The water comes out of the toe squirt instant shot, and I checked for obstruction
Thanks for sharing this tip
Don't return the water back to the return water bottle
Thank you, was in a hurry ❤

Done.
do you have picture of it ?

Awesome Roger….let me know if I can help with any repairs you’re stuck on.
You the man ! Your videos are awesome ! I appreciate you taking the time to do these because it really helps. Thank you !
Glad it helped- hope these videos reach more people. Thanks
Thank you! This helped me get my Bissell back up and running!
Awesome
@AaronDuhon Can’t argue with that!
Thank you- thank you! Sooo helpful! Especially to see how you have to arm wrestle those silver plastic plates and try not to break.
You’re welcome
For those of you who feel this is beyond you, my solution was to get a spray bottle and just used the suction to pick up the water. It worked fine.
Thank you very much for great videos, especially Bissell Pro Heat 2x. Awesome art work….keep up all the good work.

Very nice paintings & deck is nice🛹... Thank you for the quick fix vacuum 😊
My vac has bn sitting for almost 3 yrs and was only used twice. Now it works but doesn't spray water 😬I seen you take this apart, but not sure if I can do this! lol 😅
But I'll try and come back to let you know what happened! 😅🤞🏽

Thank you a lot, you helped me understand how does this cleaner work and that made me able to fix the issue I was having with it
Great video. Very clear video and good explanations. Thank you!
I tried to follow this video but I couldn’t get the hose off and water was slowly coming out on the main hose at the end but I put it back together tried it. No luck took it apart again and then noticed one of the hose clamps was caught on the fitting and I fixed that put it back together and now it works like a dream

THANK YOU for showing how to disassemble all the parts! I got as far as testing for water flow. I do have water flow and I do have it set to MAX clean, but the water flow is very light and inconsistent. Any tips on what to check from there?
Thank You!! This video helped me fix my machine.
You’re welcome
@natural_ness1796 that's great news. 2 thumb for you husband 👍🏾👍🏾😊
Awesome 👏 I’m glad it worked out
Hi
Thanks so much for the video. It helped me to follow the steps to check the washer not spraying water. Unfortunately the steps did not solve the problem. I want help where to get pump and how much it cost. You did recommend to buy the white tank and the motor.
Glad it helped
My vacuum stopped squirting the water out. Long story short. I ruined the water tank by adding boiling water to it and something happened to the bottom of it. All I did was swapped out the water tank $40 on Amazon and it worked like new again.
He p boiling water would do! Glad it worked out for you
Thanks for your insight about the boiling water.
Somehow mine got messed up & is not dispensing water (unless i press down on the tank, to help it "seat" properly). you tube does it again, thanks for posting, my lower suction hose came of its fitting, poor poor design by Bissell, when you place unit in upright locked position its pulls on the lower suction hose so much that it pulls out of its hose fitting socket, stupid design. even though you didnt touch base on my specific problem your video helped me take it apart to fixt my problem, Im sure it wull pull out again eventually, so I have to be careful not to place in locked upright position I guess.

@@monroevacs Will do! Thank you so much.
I would try the belt first- the shaft powers the pump not the other way around. But the belt powers the shaft and the brush
I have videos in my Bissell Tips playlist that will show you how to open the side panel for the belt
Great artwork and thanks again for these videos.

Ok did all that. Seems to get water through just fine. Even checked that last part where you said could be clogged and that's spraying water too. Nothing comes out though when I put the machine back together. And the clear tray on top isn't clogged. I'm at a loss
Next step would be to replace the pump
Fuck I’m in the same spot
@@ryanshock2541 make sure no one messed with the setting on the side🤣🤣🤣 apparently my problem was someone put it on light cleaning instead of max!

Glad it helped you 😀
This is great. Is there a video for if water isn’t coming out of the connection? I separated the hose like you said and no water is coming out. I even sucked on it. Is there a part two?
Try checking your pump belt- if it’s stillborn spraying after replacing the pump belt then maybe it’s time to replace the pump
First I would like to say thank you, thank you so much for teaching me how to troubleshoot my Bissell ProHeat 2x Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner.
Thanks to you, I might have an idea as to why water is not coming out of the Main hose line (as demonstrated toward the end of this video)
Hmmm-2 options- change your belt (pump belt) if that doesn’t work then opt to change your pump
What if water sprays out of the side from using that spayer button, but water isn't spraying down below at all?
I need additional info- when you say spraying from the side, please elaborate
@@monroevacs funny enough I got it to work after watching some of your vids lol. Thank you though!
Fantastic!! Feel free to subscribe
Thanks so much for the speedy reply! Great idea about borrowing a tank to test. Thank you!!

Just uploaded a video covering that. Check my Bissell tips playlist
Edit: For some reasons, my spray nozzles for the bottom was clogged. It created this air gap between the black tube and the nozzle path which didn't let water flow. After cleaning it out, the water flows now, but... I think the pump itself is also weak too, so I'll probably need to replace it. I don't think the system was design to rely on the pumps but use gravity.
Yes. The pump is for the hose. You did great
FYI there’s a switch on the side that limits the water flow depending on what your cleaning. I thought I had something blocking the hose however I had the switch in the cleaning mode which allows the least amount of water.
that will do it. Glad you solved the issue
Mine was jammed in between the two settings. So no water was passing through. Tore the whole machine apart just to find out the switch was stuck. I unstuck it and it worked fine.
Thanks Brother, great information
Check the red gasket below the dirty water tank. There should be a gasket surrounding it

Definitely

Hi, just wondering the troubleshoot if trigger is working correctly but water not coming out of hose when unit is on and trigger is pulled? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Consider tank- if the carpet section is working then it’s not the tank. Possibly the hose
I noticed the valve on the tank is not getting depressed when tbe tank is all the way in. Not sure why it is not pushing tbe tank valve up.
The tank might be warped- if the water comes out when you test it with a pencil or your finger then the valve is working. Think back to see if someone put boiling hot water in the tank. You may have to replace the tank
Great video! My trigger is only dispensing soap when I move backwards? It used to be both ways. What could it be?
Hmm. It could be in your handle. Imagine the trigger applying more force when you are pushing the machine forward and less when you pull the handle backwards. Check to see if your handle is secure and check to see any cracks in the trigger resistant

@@monroevacs thank you so much I will order a new hose! It didn’t work straight out of the box.
I changed the belts on my pro heat but it's still not turning the wheel
Any ideas? I have checked the power cord and even replaced the plug and it does the same thing. Powers on for a few minutes then off again.

Are you referring to the “cleanshot”- the button on the right side of the unit red and indicators when you step on it?
Thoughts?
Sweet deck!! Now to tear apart my cleaner...

You may have to replace the pump- the water for the floor and the hose attachment travel a different path after a certain point. If you know of someone with the same unit, try borrowing their window nozzle for this test. If it sprays then I your nozzle may be clogged. If it doesn’t then I recommend replacing the pump.

How do you fix the trigger not doing its job?
Sometimes you may have to replace the handle
dear sir How is the switch replaced? Machine will not turn on. wall outlet is hot. thanks rod
problem solved power cord was wrapped too tight causing the problem
Awesome I’m happy to hear it worked out
I have the proheat 2x revolution and right out the box. I get no water spraying out of the carpet cleaner or the hand tool 😔
Hmmm try pouring water directly in the auto receiver while squeezing the trigger. The auto receiver is the opening below the tank. It’s possible the tank is the problem. Also check the flow adjuster on the side of the unit make sure it’s on max
Same. It’s garbage.
tytytyty for the video. much love...xx
You’re welcome ☺️
Hi Judy I have a few video that diagnosed the handle- try this one- ruclips.net/video/dDxU2qCixuQ/видео.html
