Family and friends helping out. Nice! Looking really good Dirk! Really pays off being able to do these things yourself. Looks so much better once the drywall is up. Cheers, Mike.
Looking awesome! When I built my basement, I did the framing and hired electrical, and the guy I hired to do the mudding, said he could do the drywall and I was like yup! And 3 days later the basement was done. Best $ I ever spent not to do drywall or mudding. The people who know how do an amazing job. Yours looks great
Great team work Derk 👍🏻. Your son and Brandy did an amazing job. You got some great help with the drywall 👍🏻. Definitely a lot of work, nice to have some family helping out. Have a great one Derk 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
Looking really good Dirk, it's so nice to have help! The guys just got my ceiling installed and I put up all the lights and 3 large fans. I bought the drywall and some R23 rock wool insulation for the office and bathroom. Drywall install isn't to bad put the mud and finish work is pretty tough work! I'm hoping they will be back next week to get the wall tin installed. I'm getting the floor epoxyed on the 22nd, it will take them 3 full days to complete. Everything is really starting to come together. Take care and don't work too hard!
It’s crazy when homeowners say a guy is to high! You learn the trade and do it everyday and see if he’s to high!
When you call 4 guys in the trade and find that 3 are close to each other and one is 5x the money you know he is high. Or you know that a job is going to take like 3 to 4 hours to do and they want $1,500 to just do the final coat of drywall mud 800 sq feet. You tell that to another mudder and they like I do 3 times that most days.
Good Evening Sir, keep up your OUTSTANDING work and Videos my friend Cheers 👌😇👍💪🍻
Nice video. Always fun to see your process. FYI, fiberglass doesn't generally do much for sound deadening. For that, you need a dense mass like rockwool. Fiberglass insulates temperatures by creating lots of internal air pockets, and air doesn't stop sound very well.
