"You're like BEARS" The HOMEOWNER was SHOCKED when we REMOVED the Hedge with the Roots

  • I received a call from a new client, it was the brother of one of my clients, he recommended me because he was very pleased with the work done. The Homeowner decided to Transform his yard by replacing his old overgrown conifer hedge with a fence, since this hedge had already lost its former appearance, so my job was to remove the hedge with the roots and take everything to the landfill. For this job, as usual, I got my helper and a new two-ton trailer. I also bought a 1t hand winch to try to remove the bushes with it, but I was very disappointed.

It took 20 years for our conifers to grow like those and the last drought of 2019 killed them all... I'm still crying ..and crying now when I see those beautiful trees remove. Hi from Australia.

I never understand some homeowners and their desire to remove the best features of their property. I guess they had some project in mind, but for me looking into the shed is not a visual improvement.

Conifers are destructive trees and nothing grows beneath them they kill everything around them and they suck up moisture, they belong in woodlands not in domestic gardens they damage foundations to houses and pathways, they are a terrible tree to have. They are also prone to blowing over in high winds because they are shallow rooted. Here in Northern Europe they grow very fast / too fast and people who have them in their gardens don't prune them to sensible highs so they get too tall and block out the light in surrounding gardens and properties

That’s why they are also used for wind blocks to protect other structures. If your area has tornadoes these hedges will give great protection to pools, trampolines, sheds, shelters & even your home. It’s like a line of defense almost impenetrable in some cases. No stalker or home invader could hide in or go through those hedges, they would be facing a wall. Make them prickly like Hollie’s & they definitely won’t be coming in from that side of the property.

@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ I believe in Jesus Christ. He IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Your reply here is so disjointed and out of context, it will not be received in the way you hope.
It sounds as if you are judging and accusing these hard-working gentleman of doing something terribly wrong in their work in the video presented.
I strongly suggest you find more appropriate scriptures that testify of God's goodness that relate to what is depicted, in context, and definitely in love.
Yes, we all need what Jesus did on the cross to wash away our sins, but first, we need to get their attention within the context of His love so they will listen, and truly hear the Good News.
If all they "hear" is judgment, they will turn away before hearing the Good News (Gospel means Good News).
Sadly, too many "Christians" are corrupted by idolatry. If we do not repent of the things we have put before God, and repent of a religious spirit rooted in pride, we cannot begin to reflect the Way.
Many are awakening, and seeking the Truth right now. Let us be the ones shining the Light in the darkness to show them the way.
Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the right words to plant seeds of hope for people to respond to in their desperation.

Once the hedge grows that tall/well over head, the trimming is a nightmare, the interior dies from lack of sunlight and bugs and spiders nest within. It had to go. If they waited big equipment would be needed.

Hard work guys I wonder if a mattock would have made your day easier. It cuts through roots easier and good for digging trenches. No doubt about your work ethic.

Imagine having a lovely natural fence like that and wanting to replace it with a man made one. If you could buy hedges that full they would be worth 1000X more than a man made fence

It’s nice to see such hard work but I can’t help but think that the sound barrier between the neighbors is gone forever. 😭
