The characters in this game are actually just dolls, and the show constantly make jokes about it. That would explain why the characters move like robots and why Barbie would have no need for a toilet.
OK, here's the thing wiiviewer. The Barbie's Dream house show can be seen in its near entirety on RUclips... and it's actually pretty good. It's very self aware, gag based humor. Individual episode are only a few minutes long and as a 20 year old male with very specific taste in entertainment I think it's worth a watch. This game looks terrible though.

Before the YT crackdown I was planning on cutting away to the guy playing the guitar, and one other cut away I can't remember. I will find a sweet spot on the set volume in the future.

So I have a 4 year old daughter who watches this show. So I’m wondering if the game is bearable so I could get her into gaming. Literally everything Wiiviewer complains about as far as the “Dreamhouse World” it is a joke in the show too. It’s very self aware. That being said, the game looks like garbage. Thanks for saving me $5 to figure it out on my own.
