This brings up a question. How did Clint get the stone if Natasha was technically the one who made the sacrifice. Remember Thanos stopped Gamora from sacrificing herself to stop him because HE had to be the one to make the sacrifice to earn the stone.
@Force Kin I think you're way overthinking the Thanos and Gamora situation. Thanos stopped her from killing herself because she would of been dead. That's it! And the parameters were that you need to lose something which you love. Didn't say anything about whether the intent had to be purposeful or not.
Which proves Clint is the weakest avenger, Cap wouldn’t of let her push him away, Tony would of flew and caught her, Thor could of done either, and I don’t think she’s pushing Hulk away either lol hell the new female archer from the series is even a better archer than Clint lol at least she has better form realistically Clint wouldn’t hit shit lol

She had 2 families :( but Ik exactly what you mean. Natasha might have one of the saddest mcu stories I’ve heard yet, up there with like Thor, Loki, cap America, etc. a lot of them have really sad stories, Natasha’s stands out to me

52:44 (As others mentioned) She kicks out of his grip, when he refuses to let her go. That's what can be seen in the scene. She tells him to let her go, he says no, and then she deliberately presses her foot against the cliff to push herself away and out of his grip. He pleases with you not to do it. There was nothing else he could do to stop her, without both of them falling. -- So...that's just my objective description of what's seen and heard.
In the comics Taskmaster was a guy, which someone probably already mentioned. His superpower was called "Photographic Reflexes." He could watch someone performing a physical skill and then replicate the skill to that persons level of mastery (he would have to watch for about an hour). So, he could watch a master Rodeo performer and he could do it, Captain America's Shield work and do it, Hawkeyes bow work and do it, Black Knights sword work and do it, and many other heroes and their skills.
He doesn’t need an hour he’s adjusted mid fight to people styles.

To be fair. Clint didn't "drop" her. He tried all he could to do it himself, but she wanted him to stay alive because he had a family, something to live for but a loved sacrifice had to be made for the stone.
Personally I enjoyed Blackwidow because it basically did what they've always done in comics. By telling non-linear stories. Going back or forward in some cases to fill in the gaps of said character or title. It's basic comicbook 101. So this fits nicely right inbetween both Civil War & Infinite War. While at the same time adding more depth to what Loki & Clint said to Natasha in the Avengers. Including her visions in Age of Ultron. Anyway, Always appreciate the video's and content. Keep doing what you're doing!
I agree. Nat should have had a trilogy years ago, but unfortunately, the former head of Marvel didn't want a female character and canceled the 2011 black widow movie. If this movie was Origin, it would be superfluous because we already know Nat. But inspired by the comics, it's a much better idea to fill in the gaps in this great character's story and let her face the Past she's been running from for years.
All that stuff happened after the Civil War movie bro....lol and Natasha changed her hair by the time infinity war came around. And I hope you did the Hawkeye and Falcon and the winter soldier series too man. Both of them was awesome.
Actually YES killing a little girl IS like her. I know people like to swoon over their favorite characters, but y'all need to realize that before S.H.I.E.L.D. Natasha was a stone cold killer. She was trained AND raised to be an assassin. She didn't HAVE a childhood. That whole thing you see in the beginning with her "family," that's all fake. They are NOT her family. Her family was killed by Drakov, so that if she ever tried to find them she'd have nothing to go to and would need to rely on him. Before S.H.I.E.L.D., Natasha didn't have any kind of code of ethics. Even despite this movie showing us otherwise. Nat was a killer. Plain and simple.
Yes - there was a show a while back called The Americans. Which I never watched, but from my understanding, it was about Russian "families", "immigrating" here to start a new life. But in reality, they were Russian spies, infiltrating the country, carrying out whatever mission they were sent on, & gathering U.S. Intelligence.
Natasha's "family" at the beginning of this, are really just a group of strangers thrown together, to "look like a family". But the reality is that the adults are spies. And the children will be trained to be spies & assassin's.

I wanted to see pre-S.H.I.E.L.D. Nat in the classic black leater catsuit, pulling off crazy assassinations and heists and shit, then she starts to struggle with the consequences of her actions and wondering if she's on the right side or not. Then the climax of the movie would be Clint showing up to offer her redemption.

Personally i do think Scarlett is on of the most beautiful creative actors out there. But i like her more for sparking the strike during COVID when this movie was emergency released on streaming (where she was not getting any residual revenue b/c it was an old contract).
To answer your question, yes, The Red Guardian DID fight Captain America, BUT, it wasn't Steve Rogers, it was Isiah Bradley, the old black guy in Captain America and the Winter Soldier..... Hence why the Russian convict, the one Alexi broke his arm, said Captain America was still frozen in ice....
Bradley was locked up.

I like how in Marvel whenever someone has a little round shield or a metal arm or whatever... the expert marksmen and assassins aiming firearms at them always aim directly at the small cross section of their body that is bullet proof and never anywhere else.

Clint didn't drop Natasha. She pushed herself away. They fought for who was going to sacrifice themselves, and Natasha won out in that respect and Clint got to go back to his family. Hawkeye is next, I believe.

Yeah, it’s fine. It’s in the middle ground category of being the “typical MCU movie” film buffs hate and fans rag on for not being as good as the heights of Phase 3. It still has some great moments in it and Florence Pugh is awesome.

You should show taskmaster some respect he’s one of the coolest and strongest marvel characters 😢 and what happened to your infinity war and endgame reactions I was gonna rewatch them but they weren’t there
You should really try and do music again. Other people are doing it and not pausing as much as you did. If you do, please try Black Sabbath "Iron Man," Boston "Rock and Roll Band" and "Smokin" then Pat Benatar "Promises in the Dark" and "Shadows of the Night." You will really love them.

Taskmaster is supposed to have the athletic and Martial Arts talents to be able to mimic whomever he studies. so having the skills of multiple Avengers is not entirely out of character for him. However he needs to be able to see them. That always seemed a bit strange to me.
He can mimic anyone fighting style even though certain things effect his body. Deadpool style is too psychotic and once he watched someone in fast forward it messed him up.
I personally liked this movie more than other people, my only complaints are that Taskmaster wasn’t like the comics and I think this movie should came out during civil war which it was supposed to

It's a fun movie. Yelena was great. But if this movie had been in early Phase 3 it would have been better justified. Plus there is just too much stuff that Natasha does or endures that they just essentially granted her some super abilities.
Yep. Feige had been pushing for this movie since Phase 2 but it wasn’t until Ike Perlmutter was removed from the MCU that they finally were able to greenlight it.
She has the serum in comics so they went closer to her comic abilities.
Can’t wait for the Hawkeye series!

Yes! Phase 4 has a few overlooked gems: Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Werewolf By Night and I’d even say Hawkeye.

This movie is no where near as bad as some make it out to be, the action was on point & there’s some great new characters they introduced
The movie was good.. I think it just came out at a bad time. Should've been before Endgame, but I can see why it wasn't. it was also very low stakes compared to Endgame and dropped during the Lockdown. Expectations were way too high.
