Shadow king was the main villain on Legion
I hate to be that guy, but the shadow King was absolutely depicted in live action in the legion FX show. Granted, it was a variation, but still, it was amazing!

Selene, Apocalypse, Namor the Submariner were considered the first mutant from a certain point of view.
Y'know ever since I was a kid growing up reading the X-Men comics and watching the cartoon series one thing I never thought about until now after seeing this video is why there was never a better explanation on WHAT EXACTLY is a mutant and WHEN did the first mutants appear but now thanks to this video I think all of us fans have finally gotten a definitive answer to the question.

The first mutant was apocalypse
Selene was born before Apocalypse if im not mistaken.
@raoulk35 Yes. She is a far cry older than the Apocalypse by thousands of years. Selene's secret origin stems all the way back to the Hyborian age of Conan the Barbarian.
Why their are no african mutants like its kinda messed up beasuce all theses old mutants are either white or asian
