First saw Ethel's in 1975 and it still had the ribbing off the ship. My Mum and Dad and friends used to camp back in it in 1949. Now there's hardly a piece of ribbing left. Not a good wave to surf as it closes out, odd rare good day on your way to other places facing West.

Yes had a crack there in the late 70's when the boards could take a beating. I miss uncrowded SA waves.
