Such a relief. I passed the 11+ and got into a grammar school. all the work was worth it. I'll be going there this year. For those doing it this year, good luck 😀
Oh wow…what an information, thanks for sharing this…I know of people who needs this and I have shared the video already. Thanks ify and hubby, anytime you bring your hubby to the channel, I know it’s going to be an interesting and informative video…Daluu nu ooo🙏 I hope I can rewatch this video when my son gets to year5 or before he gets to year5.😁👊👌
Why we need to go in grammar school,we have pay a huge fee for that ,which is not easy for a normal earning person in uk ,how grammar school differ from comprehensive school.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👌♥♥♥♥♥. Thank you this was helpful. I just found out my 11+ results and I qualified for a grammar school. Nice information I liked your video.
Hi could u tell how to passed the exam ..Actually I wanna to get my son in grammar school but I don't know how I do prepare him for that as he is going to Langley Hall primary academy in year 4
Hmmm my beautiful sweet 16 don’t be surprised those teachers teach their children at home very sad 😢 thank you so much for your love and support goes bless Sis always❤️❤️
Catholic schools are part of what is called FAITH schools and might have different criteria for entry. Worth checking with catholic school you intend to apply for. Secondly, tuition are not free thank you so much for watching Sis❤️
Thanks for this. I’m just hearing about grammar schools. And just started researching on them. My son is 10 years and in year 6 in Nigeria but what if we’re able to relocate to the uk by august. Won’t we be too late? 😭😭😭 even if we start prepping from here, I feel there’s little or no time already . How do we even prepare from here? Pls any advice you have will be helpful 🙏🏽
I went to a very nice grammar school in London. I'm not convinced that you should be planning quite so hard to make sure your child gets into a grammar school. What if they don't? Will you consider them a failure? It's sad to say but I think you will.
Every child deserve to be given the best possible opportunity that a parent can give. Whether they get in or not is not the issue, the most important thing is that they have the experience which forms part of their portfolio. You cannot deny a child an opportunity for the fear of not making it. Every child is a CHAMPION.
@@IfySuccess Encouragement yes, I agree with you there wholeheartedly but making a YT vid called "How to get your child In & When to start preparing your child" sounds rather ....well, chilling and over-calculated to be honest.
They know who they want before the 11 plus exam even takes place. Our kid passed he got over 90% but didn’t get a place and is now having to go to a rough inner -city comprehensive school. All that hard work for nothing :( Seriously don’t do the 11 plus it will only ever lead to upset and severe disappointment.
The kid passed....for some grammar schools jus passing the test is not enough, you need to get a very high score and live in the catchment.@@marykuttyshajan1815
Same with my child as our area had only one grammar school for girls and one for boys with around 120 places for around 1000 kids taking the exam..Though my child passed the exam by a decent margin, she dint get in and we had to move houses to another county with 13/14 grammar schools late and now she is going to a grammar school after we took the risk of moving houses after the deadline to be in the catchment.
@@marykuttyshajan1815 but he did pass and still didn’t get a place. Now he’s going to this inner-city comp with students who don’t want to learn, disrupt classes and despite being in a higher set, the pace of teaching in English, Maths and Science is well behind the grammar school.

Well detailed explanations here. Are there catholic grammar schools in UK? Apart from saving for private tutorials, are grammar schools tuition free?
