    I’m at a grammar school and currently doing my GCSE’s. When I was at Primary, I was one of the cleverest in my class but now that I’m in a grammar I feel like I’m one of the least smartest in my class. However, it’s been years and years since Primary and I could have easily changed since then

      honestly i get you. but you probably don't realise that you are much better in something than other people - that doesn't necessarily have to be academic!

      @@AddittiAgrawal Do they bully the Socially awkward/Autistic kids though?

      definitely not !! that’s really never the case, i’ve never seen it

      @@dariusanderson5944it depends how socially awkward, they won’t pick on you but they probably won’t talk to you much and it’s less bullying than state school

    any one can get into private schools and depends on their parents money but Grammar schools are for people who get selected due to their intelligence!

    • @VShahOfficial
      @VShahOfficial 5 лет назад +7

      nah, those are the rich kid private schools and trust me the people there are so stupid but there also the academic private schools which are very selective

    • @shreiya
      @shreiya 5 лет назад +9

      sunny sunny I completely disagree, there are some extremely selective private schools out there and I know one where you can actually get kicked out if ur grades fall below a certain level

      You have to do an exam and no matter how much money you have you won't get in if you don't pass the exam

    I always compared grammar schools to state school but never really thought of comparing them to private school..nice video!!

    There are some clear difference between a private and state school but in my opinion, I think what makes the biggest difference isn't the teachers, the people or the funding but YOU and how much effort your willing to put! The more hard work and effort you put in, the better you will do, regardless of the school! So don't worry about what others are doing, work hard and smash it out!!!!😊💯💪

    After spending 5 years at a comprehensive secondary school I 'ascended' to a grammar school for Sixth Form and I started Year 12 this year. I wouldn't say that I feel pressured to do well but sometimes I feel like I lack intelligence in comparison to my peers. For PSHE, we're meant to do 40 minutes every Monday in an extended form time but my form tutor doesn't really care so we just talk instead.

      @AddittiAgrawal  6 лет назад +1

      Dominic Whitaker i guess it may be the difference in the time that we've each been at a grammar school but it obviously depends on the school too

    As someone who goes to Queen Elizabeth, there is actually a fairly wide range of intelligence, there are a few prodigies, some almost prodigies but not quite , in the middle, and some who seem less smart but compared to state schools they actually are

    I've been going to private schools for the past 11 years and now i'm in my final year of high school where i'm doing my gcses and i've been looking at grammer sixth forms and colleges. But before making my decision i wanted to know what my life would be like if i were to go to a sixth form. This really did help me see the similarities and it's given me more insight that will help me make my decision.

      hi! unfortunately i can’t give you advice on that but i would say that in the end, the individual’s work ethic outweighs the school so if you work hard, you’ll do well wherever you are :)

    Hello girls,
    Great video with very good information! Keep up the good work 👍 My dad has secured conditional offers from Dame Alice Owen’s, Westminster City School, Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre(NCS), Newham Sixth Form (NewVic) and Brampton Manor to study STEM subjects at A levels. My dad and we are more interested in DAOS & WESTMINSTER CITY SCHOOL. Could you please help us with what would be the best to go in for. DAOS - has a very good academic reputation while Westminster - has very good connections with some world class Universities and good range of work experience and internship due to its prime location. We are confused.. please help us on this front
    Thank you and best wishes to both of you
