He is a man (alien) of the people, a hero for the everyday, used and unappreciated, downtrodden, forgotten of us. In the Darkside-forged Absolute Universe the "S' shield is ultimately seen as a “mark of shame” that signifies the “poor and unskilled." In Absolute Superman #1, Superman stands stripped of his family, home. Kryptonian culture-like in mainstream Earth-Prime canon-features various guilds, with the most prestigious and revered being the Science Guild. However, unlike in previous lore, Superman’s parents are not members of this respected group. Instead, they belong to the Labor Guild, the lowest rank in Kryptonian society. Here, Superman’s “S” shield takes on a new and darker meaning, serving as the symbol for the Labor Guild and ultimately seen as a “mark of shame” that signifies the “poor and unskilled.” This marks a major shift in the symbol’s lore in two significant ways. However, it’s important to note that, although the laborer’s crest was seen as a mark of shame in Kryptonian society, this didn’t mean it was inherently shameful. In fact, despite being labeled as “unskilled,” laborers were some of the most skilled individuals in Kryptonian culture, including mechanics and engineers like Lara and Jor-El, who wore the Laborer’s Crest with pride. As Superman’s internal narrative observes, laborers were “those who made their way with their own two hands.” These framing highlights that, regardless of societal prejudice, being a laborer was noble and held immense value.
What are you talking about. Hope in the trailer was there. The kid raising a flag hoping for Superman to save them. Krypto saving Superman. Superman saving the little girl. Superman trying his best in a fight. All of those give hope
@@educationentertainment-tv All the hypocrites were swayed by the nostalgic music and not the visuals, because the trailer is not hopeful. The hypocrisy is astounding and it's why I believe Gunns Superman will flop. Turn the sound off, does it look or feel hopeful? Despair is the feeling you get when the sound is off.
@MadMax-ot3fiwow big prediction. If it flops Superman may be done for. I don't think the Snyder films made enough or they'd be like marvel continually asking Chris Evans and Robert Downey back. Lol. So if this Superman fails may be time to hang it up. They've tried everything
@MadMax-ot3fi perhaps...I've felt the hope without the music. The colours, the scenes, the boy's hope. It all gaved me hope too. I felt happy. Indeed, it is just my subjective POV, but I've seen hundres of other videos of people reacts on this trailer and felt it ( they commmented on the hope symbol and colours etc. as seperate thing, without music, as well ). Imagine hoe many like me, without YT channels did the same. Do not estimate the thing as objective based on your own subjective perspective, that you can't see like others may did. If you didn't felt it, than perhaps the movie isn't for you. And I believe many people will agree with you. Thats the strenght of subjectivity mate. In the end, respect its all that we can give. And do not wish bad.
Superman will SUCCEED

Yes I was just posing the question. I agree with you but some disagree.
