Translation notes for the last rumor:
- "Mega evolution" being translated as "eye evolution" was probably because it might've originally been written as めが進化 (the "mega" in Mega-shinka being written in hiragana instead of katakana, making it look like regular Japanese words), where め "me" on its own is a word meaning eye (目). If this was a deliberate mistake, props to the poster lmao
- Fushigibana, Lizardon and Kamex are the Japanese names of Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise. Sirnight is Gardevoir
- Harimaron, Fokko and Keromatsu are Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie
- It's interesting that they use the English "Lumiose City" instead of Miare City, because it would lend credence to the idea that this was typed out in full English instead of being translated like the "eye evolution" example. It's possible that machine translation might have been used as an aid
- Trimmien is Furfrou, Nyasper is Espurr, Wheega is Whirlipede
I call the second rumor bollocks. We would never get the same starters from X and Y in a followup. Harimaron = Chespin, Fokko = Fennekin, and Keromatsu = Froakie.
Maybe not to choose initially, but they could do what they did with the Kanto starters in XY and make the Kalos starters the second group of starters we get to pick from
We have no set in stone rules with legends games since this is only the second one so I think it could be very possible we get the same ones again
@@trey9261 Where would be the fun in that? This game EXPANDS the lore of Kalos, just like Arceus expanded Sinnoh. It would be BORING to have the same starters again, when we could have Snivy and Piplup as starters to expand THEIR lore.
I can see Piplup being one of the starters for Pokémon Legends Z-A due to the fact that no Pokémon from Sinnoh got a regional form outside of Sinnoh. I'm referring to the Sinnoh region from the Diamond and Pearl Series.
Also, Piplup is VERY French being named off of Napoleon.
@@peterrealar2.067 that’s the actual reason, the inspiration from the mon is based off of napoleon and thus is directly tied to the vibe of kalos which is based on France.

All of the legends of arceus starters bore importance and a connection to the region upon which Hisui was based on, Hokkaido the northern most province of Japan.
Typhlosion is based on a badger yokai, which is a demon in Japanese lore.
Samurott is a samurai, and some of its facial features and edges resemble the helmets samurai wore during that age.
And hisuian decidueye bears the appearance of a ronin, a rogue samurai without a lord. Original decidueye is an archer which also bore significance to the land of Japan during that era as many samurai were also proficient archers.

I personally dont think that we will get new starters since 2 generations have mega pokemon i could see them having the option of letting you have 6 to chose from. Or depending on certain events or things you do at the beginning you can get the options for gen 1 or 3 gen pokemon

The thing that gets me on those leaks is the fact that nothing seems to be centered properly.
ZA is the opposite of the king AZ who used the ultimate weapon to end the war and Z is the end of the alphabet symbolizes the end of the war and the A the beginning of the alphabet symbolizes the beggning of lumiose city so I think this game will be about the creation of lumiose city and new kalos after the end of the war
I would say... a past version of an America region would be pretty cool. I'd be very fascinated to see what they'd do for a past America region.

I think scrapped is the wrong term. If that actually did happen, it would be delayed until they figure out how to fix it
I thought they'd do a legends Unova 2nd, but honestly this is best. Refine the formula in the 2nd, make your masterpiece for the 3rd. Black and White just has the most to work with (that I personally care about, Sword and Shield has a lot of history too I guess but I fell asleep once when reading one of the story cut scenes so please spare us)

Yea I called bs on that first image because simply, it looks too good, like it was made in unreal with a decent amount of time and care. There hasn’t been a Gamefreak game that looks anywhere close to as good as that image, it’s definitely made in blender.

I wouldn't be surprised if Unova remakes got scrapped, though. Sales-wise, BDSP sold more than PLA & them being a pair of games while PLA is one game doesn't change that.
I DO hope that, if PLZA introduces new battle mechanics, those actually get carried over into generation 10 rather then them being dropped and we just get raids & flashy gimmicks for gen 10 insteaad.
Yes it does. BDSP has higher sales because they’re a dual pack. PLA was a single standalone spin-off. The comparison cannot be made.
