I hit legend 2 seasons ago and I had no idea about the concept of throwing on alignment until Henry explained it in his stream
12:55 Iron Head is only single Super Effective there, SE vs. Ice but not Flying. That’s likely why Articuno survived.
Also, Articuno may hit Lando-T for 2xSE damage, but Lando on the safe switch wins the 0s and the 1s going straight Stone Edge. It does not need to bait. Articuno needs 27 turns to reach 2 Icy Winds, but Lando only needs 26 turns to reach 2 Stone Edges.

Problem is Stone edge doesn't KO after icy wind. Articuno wins the 1s and 2s. Run the sims
@@acmartinez129 found my mistake. Default sim has Articuno running Triple Axel and not Icy Wind. Seems like 1 Mud Shot head start just barely flips it if Articuno runs Icy Wind.

Why was articuno actually really good 💀 Thankfully zygaurd and landourus are kinda popular, so that makes it easier to use it
I think it was used more in Ultra in the early seasons? (not sure, didnt play yet)

1:22 maybe you could shielded the spacial rend and farm the palkia all the way down and then rock that hooh out of the sky with loaded roar of time which has same D•O as draco
12:54 this is not double super effective; it is only single super effective. Because of that, a -2 Iron Head only deals ~35%, meaning the opponent was _actually_ trying to knock out the Articuno but failed to.

Could someone explain to me the mechanics of why throwing on alignment into the ho-oh gives a free extra incinerate?
Sometimes when you use your charge move the opponent gets an extra attack in. You ideally want to throw so they can’t get that in and charge up more energy

If you are new I can imagine you feel like that, im mostly free to play (unless now during GoFest) and host my own raids alot in now my 3rd year of playing Go.
Some legendaries I see for the 4th or 5th time in the raid rotation and slowly getting those to lvl 50 without remote raiding.
Right now I have 0 legendaries at lvl 50, yet my highest winstreak in GBL was in Master with 28

The fusion will take the level/stats from Necrozma, not Solgaleo/Lunala.
