Concerning this following question -> A 10-mg dose of a newly developed medication that follows first-order elimination kinetics was injected via IV route to healthy subjects during phase I clinical trial. The volume of distribution (Vd) of the drug turned out to be 80 L. Which of the following would have been the volume of distribution of the drug (in liters) if the administered dose were 20 mg? How does the elimination of the first order kinetics interact with Vd to make it a constant? (sorry if something is not right! English is not my first language) Thank you so much!
Sir, thank you for this very good video. I found this very helpful. My story is a long story. My passion is pharmacology. I love calculating half lives while I am in physical therapy I have survived a Iatrogenic ICH/hemorrhagic CVA/brain bleed whatever you want to call it. Open-heart surgery I had a valve replaced. That’s only temporal. I have had 12 other major operations. That is irrelevant. I am just trying to say I know somethings however I did not complete college. I don’t believe that I am stupid. I have made mistakes. I learned from them. I am here to commend you with respect, as with my dad, a hematologist oncologist, who’s head 😢this goes way over or so he claims after his M3 or four year was over. Or maybe I don’t know what but he is an incredible man. He didn’t deserve this loss. I battled hemi plegia, expressive aphasia, the loss of four of my Broadmannareas. This happened to me when I was 19 because I was admitted for a bacterial endocarditis. Mediansternotomy For me… And my love… Grey’s Anatomy… At my hospital shelf table thing for four months where I was taken by helicopter. My brain bleed was induced by an accident of an overdose of miss dosing and over it using IV heparin. Yes, they really missed this. Ohio state university Wexner Medical Center hospitals also did save my life many times. From my own hands. Of which now, I live with one. My left hand has a flexion contracture that will never be the same in an anatomical or physiological sense. I figure no one cares about this, it will probably never be seen. If anyone sees it, if you’re fighting a battle, if you’re helping people, no matter what, it doesn’t stop, tomorrow is today, be the change you want to see in the world. Do more things like learning. It never stops. This guy is incredible watch his channel more. All my love and gratitude, Kayla Rxse 🥀

in 13:08 can't i just get K from T/2 and then once I have K I can just divide clearance on K and I get VD ? cuz CL=KVd and T/2=0.69/k /?
Extremely helpful. Thank you very much❤
Awesome! Thank you soo much!

My pleasure! I am glad that you enjoyed this video!
It’s important to convert unite if I have dose 5mg/kg and plasma concentration zero time 7mcg/MI how can 5/7 =0.17
