Transformer oil can tell a lot about the condition of a transformer. Insulating oil or transformer oil breakdown voltage test (Oil BDV Test) is a one of the critical tests to assess the impact of moisture and contamination in the oil. It is widely accepted test method to accept or reject the transformer oil. The test is done as per the IEC 60156 standard.
The kit is fully automatic and able to test all types of transformer oil: Mineral, Silicon and ester oil.
