Cause: Inertial Navigation System Malfunction due to the heavy rain conditions it was flying in (this caused the plane to dissapear off the radar immediately after the system malfunctioned, removing all contact from any ATC tower to the plane, and all contact from the plane to any ATC tower)
this resulted in severe spatial orientation causing the plane to bank left, after the disorientation there was a major pilot error resulting in crash

The scariest thing was the black box. Hearing pilots praying while the plane stalled and disintegrating apart.
Cause: Failure of training by the company leading to pilot error and also the failure to fix the IRS causing the indonesia ban of airlines till 2009.
Also the company was suspended with also including other low cost airlines who had lack of safety and now there is much safer airlines in indonesia.
And what happened to Adam airline ?

The failure of the inertial navigation system, spatial disorientation and pilot error are the causes of the accident. The aircraft banked sharply to the right as the autopilot disengaged and it nosedived due to the captain pulling back on the control stick which will send the 737 into a 900 km/h dive, enough to destroy the aircraft cabin.

You know the most saddest thing about these are the passengers and crew the crew just think They are just gonna be alright normal and serve Passengers the Passengers think they are on a ordinary flight but then when it happens they just give up on hope they won't survive that just make me sad on how a flight that probably doesn't break up or crash yet is how the Passengers give up on all hope. :(

Maybe fly around the storm like most planes do?
The storm didn't cause the accident. The pilots were distracted fixing one of the navigation devices since their route wasn't going through the storm. They had to reset it which deactivated the autopilot what lead the plane to gradually turn to the right (because of a little previous unfixed problem in one of the stabilizers) without the pilots realizing till it was too late and the aircraft was uncontrollable plummeting. The storm just prevented the pilots from realizing the plane was turning right without them controlling it till it was too late since they couldn't see what was going on outside.
