I am throwing away the jag tank and putting in a racing tank with stump in the trunk using only a exterior pump! 92 xjs v12.

That's very similar to the pre 92 setup. They had a smaller tank mounted by an external fuel pump.

Have a 1995 Jaguar XJS V12 I'm replacing the fuel pumps on. Your video has been very helpful, so thanks for that.
All that's left for me, besides the submersible fuel hose, is the actual pumps. The part number you mentioned was... import direct 6190bd20120 ? Is that right?
This 95 Jag I'm working on has sat for 8 years on the beach in South Carolina, its a rusty disaster. So was the inside of the fuel tank. These two pumps are the last cue to getting it mobile - I had to replace 1 caliper, passenger front (frozen) and a collapsed hose (passenger front too). Nick

Nick, thanks. The part was bought from O'Reilly auto parts, the line # is IDF and the part # is E16144. I'm not sure if they have stores in SC but you can order online and they deliver. @ $52, it was the best deal i could find.
Good luck with your car, the 6L V12 cars are rare and should be saved.

Note that some sites list the V12 and 6 cylinder cars to have the same pump. Not the case.

@@aalabbasi I’m not sure this one is worth saving it’s pretty bad and rusty. Intention is to make it start, stop and drive in a parking lot. Off to Carmax. Red on beige with 40k.
I’m stuck at the moment trying to figure out why I can’t pull the tank out enough to snake the fuel pump assembly out. I can move it about an inch or two on the passenger side but no real movement driver side.

@@aalabbasi appears there’s a change for the 95 model year, so I cannot use the pump like your 94 has -but I’ll confirm once I get the old pumps out.
