In 1969 while in Vietnam in the Marines I sent 90% of my money home to buy a new XKE on my return. To make a very long story short, the money wasn't there when I got back. Life got in the way and I never got that XKE. 52 years later I came across a one owner 1995 XJS convertible with 4.0 with 58K. It was love at first sight, I drive the car regularly with the top down most of the time. I recently repaired the AC system myself as the local Jag expert couldn't after three tries. I couldn't have done it without the help of "community" as you put it. One of my favorite things about the car is that I can drive all day and not see another one like it. A young lady in short shorts and long legs was checking my car out at the gas station the other day, now if I was just 40 years younger........................
Hi James I own a 1995 XJS Convertible and I love her I named her Tara and I drive her daily quiet fast and smooth on the road with the ZF 4 speed transmission and the straight 6 4 litre engine I did watch your videos as you did the repairs to the Jag you featured today thanks for sharing I also agree with your 5 top choices best regards Andy Allen.
Such an underappreciated car
I have to agree.
