I like all your content on this program. I am very interested in using this to showcase my songwriting. If the songs are good, real singers will come eventually. And also Reason is the GOAT.
This was helpful. The ACE studio video about this is also very helpful. 🐓Even if you have the ACE Studio subscription, you still have to wait in the queue for the voice training. This takes a very long time depending upon how many are in the queue. So one needs lots of data and patience.
Thanks very much for this review. I was considering ACE custom voice for my own songs that I’m writing. I like the sound of my voice, but I am not a strong singer, and my vocal range is fairly narrow. I was hoping that ACE could map the timber of my voice onto a strong vocal performance, but this does not appear to be the case. I think your idea is right, that it would be great if you could upload a song you sing to service and have it return something that sounds better but it’s still your singing. But until that technology becomes a reality, I guess I will go back to the old way, which is to write songs that fall within my vocal range, practice a lot, do a lot of takes, comp them together, and pitch correct as best I can.
@@NeuroPete yes you've summed it up perfectly. It will improve as tech gets better. This is only the beginning. Ace is still great for other purposes as well. Keep singing and writing and the best of luck with your songs sir!
Similar story here. I find with enough time/takes/practice, I'm an okay back-up singer, depending on the song. But I'm not sure even converting me to an AI voice is going to ever be better than the AI voices in Ace (or Audimee, etc.) no matter what I do. Still, adding my own actual singing at times backing up AI lead singers adds a layer to sometimes "overly produced" AI music.
Thank you!!!! You are literally the only video on RUclips that shows the new voice clone feature. How long has this thing been out now, a month? And nothing! I almost tried it myself but I had a feeling it wasn't quite yet up to snuff and didn't want to risk $300. Your video confirms my decision 😂 Dreamtronics will probably have this feature eventually and they'll do it right.
You're welcome, yes it's been out a while and I'm surprised no one else has done a review on it? I've never heard of dreamtronics so I'll have to look into them!
@@_thomaswarburton they have vocal AI software called synthesizer v, you purchase voices for it. Most are in Chinese but they have a few English native singers, my favorite is Hayden for male, Solaria for female. It will blow your mind and you will never use Ace Studio again 😂
Thanks for doing this. I subscribed to ACE and was looking into custom voice. Your video helps a lot in my decision. I found the voices they come with are thin and probably are good for pop music. I had the same problem by trying to increase the tension. The Air sometimes helps if you are looking for some hoarseness.
Are there ways to purchase vocals externally that then can be used to train the model? Or purchase already trained models externally and import them etc?

Thank you very much for this ultra interesting and sincere review!!! Great job!! 👏🏻 😀👍🏻

Yes, I think you're probably right, most of the voices are suited to pop music. I'll have to try adding a bit of Air for more hoarseness thanks!
dude! Why are you holding the mic in your hand? lol Thanks for the review
because I don't know what to do with my hands! plus that's the beauty of these mics, you can hold them and get no noise!

Your voice sounds way better than any of the other BS ones you tried. Lets hope AI stays like this so we don't loose proper singers
9:05 - Trail?...trial, maybe? lol
