Good video and job you and your wife do really good work. I have run a riveter it much louder and you have to go very fast or you get fired like I did which in the long term turned out good I would have ended up deaf. Both of you take care be safe and well.

Thank you! Debby was hammering metal connector nails with a pneumatic palm nailer. The palm nailer is an effective tool to drive a lot of nails in tight places. Riveting is noisy work. I do not envy anyone installing hot rivets. Guess it is the type of work that has provided the progress for where we are today. Thank you for watching! Good health to you and yours.

This stuff is getting closer to real time. We are about half way through laying the subfloor sheets. But, we do have a pile of studs and headers waiting for attention. As always, thank you for your support!

You built floor high off the ground? Concerned about flooding? Avalanches?

We are waist high on one side and over the head on the opposite side due to slope. Leveling a spot was not something we wanted to do. The slight increase in elevation improves the view of the Seven Sisters Range across the valley. Although we have experienced higher than normal rain this past season I doubt flooding is a concern. And no worries about avalanches. We will utilize the space under the house for some energy projects. Thank you for asking. Thank you for watching!
