I was on this cruise with y'all and enjoyed seeing the fun your group had the entire cruise. I really enjoyed your video of dinner on embarkation. Just showing the meals, deserts, and the pour of the martini with the music overlay was awesome. I hope this is a new trend we will see for showcasing the wonderful meals.
Seeing the cruise crew and coop altogether just enjoying each other was so great to watch!! What a fun time with cruise family! It was super generous for you to gift everyone some of your famous jam Sharon. This video had ALL the feels!!❤😊
This cruise was amazing. The best people to cruise with. Sharon Jamie Matthew and The Ship show were amazing hosts. Loved the goodie bags especially Sharon’s homemade Strawberry Jam. Alaska was amazing. We will be visiting Alaska again. Thanks for the best cruise ever.
You guys crack me up, I enjoy watching you so much!! We are not going on a cruise again until December, but I just love watching your adventures!! We aspire to vlog and most of all meet up with you guys again some day!!! This looks like it was great fun. Even in the rain!! Not even rain can make us sad on "Cruise Day"!!
Smith Cove is really easy. It was like Baltimore, like the smaller ports. Suites are the best, we would get them when our son and daughter cruised with us and mom and dad paid. lol LOVED the Spirit, and yes the pools and hot tubs are heated.. Hope the Legend will be heated for Canada and Greenland. There are actually 3 pools. Midship, Lido then the aft/serenity.
Don’t wear out the ship or eat all of the food. I’m booked on the Spirits repositioning cruise September 19th. I’m really looking forward to the full transit of the Panama Canal. Enjoy Alaska.
Love the spirit. Can’t wait to see the rest of your videos from this cruise as I think we have decided to do Alaska next year probably on the same ship.
If anything, we probably overpacked. I would say pack a bit less. Nothing really that we "forgot" to pack. Bring an extra pair of shoes/sneakers in case you get into some rain or mud. Remember you can always do a quick load of laundry in a pinch on the ship. Thanks for watching!!!
Two questions. Was there enough clearance in that tub/shower for those of us over 6 ft tall? Did they let you into the casino with those PJs on? :) Awesome video, thanks for sharing!!
Just adults or kids too? Is it your first time to Alaska? Lots of variables to this question. Carnival can be great with kids, plus has a little party vibe and an ok focus on Alaska. Hal is more for adults, although they do have a kids club, and if you are really into learning about Alaska and the culture, they are great!!! We haven't sailed Princess, but you might find that they kind of fit right into the middle of those two.
@@SharonatSeaTravel No kids, we are almost 60, Platinum with Carnival so aware of the vibe, we are looking for some of that vibe with some quite space also. We like the Piano bar, comedy club and casino on Carnival that is about the only things we participate in. LOVE great food and drinks and people watching. Thanks for answering me. Do you suggest a travel agent or is just calling the cruise line enough? Thanks
YOYOYO!!! Brooklyn in da Haus Yall !!! Well it looks like we will be doing Alaska soon, Alice has been talkin bout it lately so who knows, those beads that Sharon gave us in New Orleans has been bringing us luck !!! just sayin Yall.............Hey Jamie How you doing lately Mister !!!
We stayed at the Homewood Suites on Western. Look for the video before this one that shows our pre-cruise day in Seattle for more on the area right around the hotel!!
Love this page! Sharon, I am leaving on the Spirit in a couple of months. We may have a flight that leaves Seattle at 10:10am. (The day of disembarking) Do you have an idea of how long it takes to get off the ship (average)? We did pay for the program that helps you get on (and off) faster. Also, do you do other group cruises?
10:10 could be tight. Carry off all of your luggage yourself and be ready to run off the ship asap. I book all cruises, any line to anywhere, and we have some other smaller group cruises coming up. Email me sharonatsea@gmail.com Thanks!!
it was actually somewhat warm and sunny, but we were lucky from what we are told. And yes, all meals in the main dining room are included in the cruise.
I have been on cruises three times. I should have went through your agency. I'm disabled and I got screwed because I wanted the next cruise and they told me it's now or never. So...I lost 3 thousand dollars. Hope you all have fun.
I just did this cruise on the Spirit July 4th. We had perfect weather the whole week in Seattle and Alaska. The Spirit has a fantastic crew!

We had a great time too, Gina!!!! See you again soon!!!
Good times. Great memories. Tasty jam. Thanks guys.
That's a spacious cabin. How nice of you to give everyone a goody bag including the jam.
Sharon’s jam is the best. Lucky group

So Kool to revisit, great day.
Did the Spirit last year in July for Alaska. Loved the Spirit class ships.

We’ll be there at the end of August!! August 29- September 5 on Carnival Spirit !!!!!!!!Can NOT wait 😀
Sharon you are so thoughtful with chap stick and jam and all. This is the same type of room as we had when we went from Seattle to Alaska in May
Bucket list cruise right here! Have always wanted to try Spirit class and really can't wait to go to Alaska!!
Our family went on the carnival spirit in 2019 Aussie -Nz The trip was amazing hope you enjoyed it too 😀
Wow. That looks like an enormous amount of work went into that.

I love they boarding process.
So kool, dang a bath tub, that is suite.
My first cruise on Carnival Destiny was a suite just like that room! Brings back memories ❤
Great video! So much fun! Lois😊
My sister is working in that ship right now and she’s also a blogger. Have fun
Love the Spirit class!! We had a similar suite on the Radiance, which was nice, and the best dining room service ever! Probably because of the suite…
Looks like a fun cruise, someday I'm going to go on your group cruise

Keep it up Jamie and Sharon
I'm going to that cruise Thursday
Can't believe I haven't done Alaska yet have a Mediterranean in April Canadian in September amd Alaska was on the list before both of those.
Best cruise yet for me,even with us bringing the kids.
Awesome to hear!!! It was great meeting you guys!!! Let's do it again soon!!

Fun vlog as always guys.
so glad that you got the suite so I can see what mine will look like in 17 days. 6174.
Great goodie bags! I don't think I've ever seen a vlog on Carnival with tablecloths in the main dining room! 👍
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Great fun video!
Sharon, has there been any norovirus outbreaks in your latest cruises?
Which side of the boat do you recommend for this cruise to get the best view?
What a shame that we couldn’t go with you to Alaska, granddaughter graduation came first! Great video!
we are going on a september 3 rd alaska cruise. was there anything you wished you had packed but didn't? so difficult to pack for this cruise.
If anything, we probably overpacked. I would say pack a bit less. Nothing really that we "forgot" to pack. Bring an extra pair of shoes/sneakers in case you get into some rain or mud. Remember you can always do a quick load of laundry in a pinch on the ship. Thanks for watching!!!
you literally are in the same room we were in on the 1st of June. Our steward Indy was the best!
Does Carnival require a printed boarding pass?
Two questions. Was there enough clearance in that tub/shower for those of us over 6 ft tall? Did they let you into the casino with those PJs on? :) Awesome video, thanks for sharing!!
Yes and Yes!! Hey there AspenATC!!!
I suppose one could dress nice to embark, making the luggage point moot and the MDR as well, but whatever works.
What do you feel is the best cruiseline for Alaska, I am looking at Carnival, Princess and HAL for August 2024.

Took it to Whittier loved the experience.
So much fun we should do that pj party at every sail away.

Another question: did you purchase the drink package?
On this trip, we did not.
Was the pajama part just for your group? Or was it a Carnival thing?
It was just a fun event for our group. We also had the Lido Olympics you can see in another video from that cruise!!!
How is weather in june in Alaska?
Warmer than you would think, although it can still get pretty chilly. Tough to pack for..need to bring a mix of clothes!! lol
What hotel did you stay at?
We stayed at the Homewood Suites on Western.....ruclips.net/video/TzKCRL3KuPs/видео.html
9 weeks from today we will be on spirit going to Alaska
Is there abasketball court im going there on monday
How’s the weather in July over at Alaska and does formal night dinner is free or pay additional at carnival spirit?
it was actually somewhat warm and sunny, but we were lucky from what we are told. And yes, all meals in the main dining room are included in the cruise.
@@SharonatSeaTravel we r traveling in week but so confused what to pack. Thank you for your respond. For formal night I mean dress up night dinner!
What month did you cruise to Alaska? We’re going May 2024 on Carnival Spirit!
We went in June of this year.
Marv Levy!? GO BILLS ❤️💙
Were you guys able to actually feel the boat moving? That’s my fear😂 planning this for next year
At times, yes..but it was pretty calm. Sometimes that first day heading North from Seattle can be a bit choppy.
How do you get to diamond status?
We have cruised on Carnival for years.
How come yours is not RED???? Mister Sharon !!
Was that a blue hat by chance
I think she is going to get a beer
what are the other Spirit class ships in the fleet
Legend, Miracle and Pride...Hi Debbie!!!
I have been on cruises three times. I should have went through your agency. I'm disabled and I got screwed because I wanted the next cruise and they told me it's now or never. So...I lost 3 thousand dollars. Hope you all have fun.
Oh no..sorry to hear that! Feel free to contact me next time John..sharonatsea@gmail.com. Thanks for watching!!!
How did you lose $3000 due to your disability?
Nooo the Virginity Rocks shirt
Well, thought I was going to see Alaska rather than people boarding a ship
In all fairness, the video is titled "Boarding the Carnival Spirit". There are more videos of our cruise to Alaska in this series!!
do they elevators
Yes, they have elevators.
@@SharonatSeaTravel yay thanks
