I took my first ever cruise a month ago, and it was to Alaska on Carnival Spirit. I loved it! Great experience with outstanding staff! So much to do on board. Alaska is so beautiful. Breathtaking scenery! Enjoyed my excursions, especially the White Pass Railway ride! Since I don't drink alcohol or coffee, I had no issues. Ate too much! I definitely want to cruise Alaska again!

Just got back from Carnival Spirit Alaska cruise. Loved it. And yes wish it were easier to get a beer. Though some bars were less crowded than others. Also, no option for a 12 ounce beer. Almost everything 16 ounces for $9.95

What side of the ship would yall prefer port side are other side on balconies?

If you’re getting a balcony either side is great because the ship will turn around to leave. We prefer saving the money and getting an interior,if it rains you will be inside anyway.

Good video but most of the larger shift have pour your own beer stations

Yes they do have self serve beer stations in the buffet (great point! Thank you 😊) but it’s carnival’s brewed beer and some don’t drink that. I personally prefer cold cans or bottles of American domestic beer and that Cheers package is pricey and limits you so I wouldn’t use a drink on their Red Frog tap beer
