  • We booked a White Pass Summit Tour with Chillkoot Charters and Tours in Skagway, Alaska. This was NOT a sponsored tour, we booked directly with them and many from our Group Cruise did the same.

    Hi, from the UK, hard to believe it's been 11 years, since my Alaska cruise, with Princess. I did the the return, White Pass Scenic Railroad trip, and helicopter onto a glacier, in Skagway, awesome. Alaska was amazing, as was Princess Cruises, and a real bucket list trip for me!

    We did this tour with Chilkoot Tours and they were great! 😊

    Did the same tour on our trip! Ours was the reverse, bus 1st then train. One of the highlights of our trip. Loved it.

    I was looking into booking w/this company for my Alaska 2024 cruise. This sealed the deal. Thanks.

    This was such a fun day! I beg to differ on who the fun bus was. 😂 We had the best tour guide/driver. We did and saw so much! Thank you for putting this together for us!

    one of the rare Alaska videos where people don't look cold, wet and miserable. Makes me want to go.

    Because of your recommendation. I booked a Chilkoot tour for my Discovery Princess cruise in May. I choosed the bus tour without the train.

    Would you do this tour again and were you pleased with train first or would you do bus first? I am trying to decide between this one and the one with suspension bridge. I know I want to do train and bus.

    I just need to add a bit of constructive criticism if I may. I would love to see more B roll and scenery footage within each vlog. Most vlogs contain a breakdown of what you’re going to be planning to do, then we watch the actual video of what you told us you were going to do, followed by a synopsis of what we actually just watched you do. We certainly enjoy and appreciate the information provided within each vlog, however, a-lot of it seems very repetitive. Just a little piece of hopefully helpful information from a longtime subscriber. ☺️

    How much was this tour was it cheaper then going through Carnival just wondering we'll be going soon

      Just look at Carnival and this Company Price to see which one fits for you.

    • @SharonatSeaTravel
      @SharonatSeaTravel  Год назад +2

      It was about $200 per person. It's longer than Carnival's excursion, included more and also less people.

    Is the tour different depending on your cruise line? We’re listed as doing the bus tour first then coming back down on the train. It was a lot of money due to the exchange rate.

    • @SharonatSeaTravel
      @SharonatSeaTravel  Год назад +2

      This tour was booked directly with Chilkoot Charter & Tours, not through the cruise line. We have used them twice, once for a 4 hour tour and this time 7 hour tour. Both were great.

      They do have another train ride where you don't get off the train and you don't need a passport. That is the one I took in May, 2023.

      The video may not do it justice. There are many, many parts that are just breathtaking

    I hate clickbait. It makes me not want to watch your other videos.

    • @SharonatSeaTravel
      @SharonatSeaTravel  Год назад +5

      What clickbait? We did not book the tour through the cruiseline...we booked direct with the vendor. We clearly said that in the video.

    • @user-pt4xx4wu2i

      Whats the clickbait? I think is one of the best videos to get an idea about what to expect when there.
