Totally love this! So many business make this mistake locally. I’m in the Caribbean. 1-they post only product photos, no behind the scenes, and it’s always ‘buy this now you’ll love it’ and 2- it’s so difficult getting the prices. If 100 persons comment ‘what’s the price’ they’ll say ‘dm me’, and that’s ridiculous and time consuming. You’ll loose sales that way. So this video is absolutely enlightening! Thank you.
Love it! Thank you for all the tips! What types of hashtags do you prefer to use to help get views? Or do you think that even matters? Also I'd love to see a video of how you prep for candle season!
Thanks Karissa! I do think hashtags can help people discover your content. If you take a look at my Instagram, you can see I usually copy and paste the same ones depending on the video content. #handmade #smallbusiness… etc.
Thanks for the video very helpful. I was wondering if you would mind sharing where you got the tea light containers and boxes and where to buy the label machine your using?
@@calafiacandlecoThank you! How do you like it? I can’t wait to check it out. Do a lot of people buy your samples that you were packaging tonight? I haven’t made any like that. I am a maker that makes too many different products already. But, it sounds like a good way for people to pick a scent. Hope they are a success! Thanks for sharing your tips!
@@hilaryquinn8673I love it! A nifty little tool. I just launched the sampler packs on Thursday. Haven’t sold one yet but hopefully sales will trickle in!
Very informative, as always. Just a question, as you mentioned that having your own store requires more effort to get traffic to your shop, what are the main drawbacks you're not considering having an Etsy shop (or maybe you did) :)? thanks in advance!
I actually am working on a bit of a re-launch with my products. When I get it up and running, I am planning on selling on Etsy, too. I was always set on having my own website when I started, I do think Etsy is a great route to go, too. I’ve always wanted to do both but figured it would be too hard to keep track of inventory. Now they have an integration app that will keep everything in order for selling on both Shopify and Etsy. Excited to give Etsy a try this year!
Have you ever thought about selling a course to help beginners with concrete vessels, coloring, and sealing the vessels. I really find your information helpful better quality than anyone else that I follow and will be willing to pay for the course. Thanks in advance
Aw that's so sweet of you to say! Honestly, I thought about it a long time ago but ultimately decided I didn't feel right charging my followers for something like that. I didn't start this channel with the intention of profiting off of it. I just genuinely enjoy making videos and sharing what I've learned with others. I don't mind sharing information for free here on RUclips, as that is how I learned how to do this craft. It does help and support my channel when you guys shop using my affiliate links with brands and Amazon, but I don't see myself charging for a course anytime soon. I plan on just continuing to post videos here on my channel for free for everyone. :)

Hello Bree, I love watching your youtube content. What size of wick are you using for your tea light? Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching! I no longer share the wick sizes I use because it really depends on so many different factors. Hope you understand.
@@calafiacandleco Yes I do understand. Thank you.
Do you use a high fragrance load for your tea lights?
I used the same amount I use for my regular candles - 9%
@@calafiacandlecothanks. I’d like to experiment with the FO load for my tealights. I tend to go on the lighter side.
