    I LOVE using Canva.
    Thank you for teaching me some more options to use on it though.
    Love the way your labels turned out, and how you tie them to the jars.

    I love your candle labels. I'm launching my candle husiness in a few months, and I plan on adding either ceramic or concrete vessels down the line. I plan on using a wrap around label that can be removed without leaving sticky residue. I have a Cricut as well, but I am not an expert with it. Regarding printing your labels, If I remember correctly, I believe her name is Corinne Blackstone she has a tutorial on how to change the print settings. That way, you can avoid wasted paper.

    Very informative video, I learned alot just now. I have one question...after u have decided a name for your candle, do you randomly selected three scent notes to put on the label? Or can you do a video on how you select the scent notes to put on your candle labels?

    Love your video and I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you! Question - what printer do you use? I have one that prints on card stock and receives from the Cricut, but the ink isn’t as dense as I’d like it to be.

    Hello , How are you I want to ask that this your Scent name : Riveria , T-Street etc and this is the recipe name : Mango I Lemongrass I Honey suckle ? Because im little bit confuse in fragrances names on the labels . So please guide me about it , Thank you

    • @calafiacandleco
      @calafiacandleco  10 месяцев назад

      Hello. I rename all of my candles separate from what the fragrance oil is originally named. Some of them I make blends on my own. I just like to list 3 scent notes from the fragrance oil(s) on the label to give customers an idea of what the scent is.

    Hello, Im new to candle making and I love your video's .I have a cricut and I've been trying to make labels with kraft cardstick paper, How do you get your cricut to cut on kraft paper? not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Any ideas?

      Thank you, and welcome to the candle making world! It’s most likely the Cricut type you have. I know only certain ones will print on colored paper. I have the maker.

  • @MargieWoodley

    I have another question. Have you made dust covers? I made some with kraft cardstock , and the candle is coming through the paper making it look wet. Any ideas on why?

    • @calafiacandleco
      @calafiacandleco  Год назад

      Unfortunately, that is something that happens if you’re using regular paper or cardstock. The oils will soak it. That’s part of the reason I stopped using dust covers. I feel like I’ve seen posts on this in some of the candle Facebook groups. I want to say there is certain paper you can use, or some people had other ideas like coating the cardstock with something. I would suggest searching those groups if you’re part of some.

    • @calafiacandleco
      @calafiacandleco  Год назад

      That is so strange! I don’t see why the Cricut would care about the color of the paper. I’m not sure I’m sorry. I haven’t heard of that happening before.

      @@calafiacandleco Up date..so i have a explore 2 it only cuts white paper ! I have upgraded now and ordered the Maker. Thanks for your great videos i love them ! I find concrete jars hard to label due to the fact the surface is uneven so the label lifts on the edges . So craft paper is a great idea!
