Loved that little village and what a great start for a walk, even got the sun and blues skies too. To think Belas Knap is over 3K years old is mind blowing and nice to see some of the wildflowers out. Cleeve Hill did not look the highest but on a sunny day, who cares and if you come across cows they are the ones you want to see. A pint in the sun after a walk seems the perfect ending to me, cheers Alan
I never knew Cleeve Hill had two Trigs. Down in my neck of the woods and beautiful weather for it, too. I grew up in Cheltenham. Thanks for sharing, Stephen.
Not used to seeing blue sky and sun on your videos. I had to double check I was watching the right channel. Some cool old long barrows in awesome condition for their age! Looked a great day out and super part of the world. It's somewhere I've never explored
Another good hike in the books. I like all the animals you encounter on these walks. And I always like seeing the rock walls for some reason. They just say England to me. I bet the beer tasted good after that hike. I’m not a beer drinker so I’d have to pass on that one. 👍
This is where the blue skies are! Pretty and Posh, what a pleasing combo. Belas Knap, what a place, lovely looking long barrow. Gorgeous part of the country this, very different from our Peaks and Moors. Wild Strawberries!? Well deserved pint at the end. ❤
Hi to you both, what a wonderful area for your walk. Stunning countryside and beautiful blue sky too. Lovely to hear those birds singing. Friendly horses. Dave likes singing when he's walking along. You deserved that drink and how wonderful to sit outside in the sun. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
What a lovely start to a walk Looks like a lovely place Blue skies, so nice to see 😊 and you could really here the birds singing Morgs would have been chatting to those horses too How nice to sit in the sun and have a drink, you definitely earned those pints Hope you've had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend
Nice interesting walk on this beautiful day you could have given Karen a push on the swing I think that was a fantastic view Blue Sky all nice and green not foggy and raining 😅 walking the country side for 31 years both of you I wonder how many miles that would be. Golfers 🏌️♀️ 🙈 😂😂😂 🍺🍺Ooooo yes. 15:28 Cheers 🍻
31 years and the first walk in Gloucestershire steve? Well, you made it - a path less travelled I guess. Ha, you're no Sheep. It's maybe why you were singing Pink Floyd. Nice and views on top and busy! It's a right old spot for everyone. Hey, great to see the source of that river - a pretty start too. Well, you ended well outside a cool pub. Good going. Mark
Yeah 31 years and never walked in Gloucestershire, also never walked in Dorset or Warwickshire...yeah the source of the river was a nice unexpected treat....Cheers Mark
With the start music I thought I was watching the Solitary Rambler for a minute😂...it looked a Glorious day...Golden Cock...ooo Matron...Posh and Beautiful, just like you two👍...The Barrow is amazing...ashamed to say I have never heard of it though...Karen chatting up the locals while you were having a Bud Lager🤣 and another pint of London Pride you football Hooligan...Great to see another County Top...Loved it...Cheers Les🙂👍
Hi guys ..what a beautiful place …you both looked like you enjoyed it…&that London pride must of gone down a treat …loved this vid Stephen so thanks as always 😊
Welcome to Gloucestershire! We live in the Forest of Dean just across the River Severn. (On the poor side 😀). Linda's been up Cleve Hill a few times. Her and her friend park on the golf club and then have lunch in there after the walk. ATB, Roger
I don't think I've seen much blue sky in the last month, so you certainly got a great day to record this top. The long barrow was an interesting find Stephen. A well-deserved pint at the end, too.
Nice to see you both out in what looks like a quaint historic area. Gloucestershire is near where I grew up. Did well with the weather too. Does make a difference on walks and filming. Both looking very relaxed too. Those burial chambers remind me of ones we saw in Anglesey. Amazing your walking together for 31 years. Much longer than us! Loved your choice of cool music again Steven.
Lovely area, the Cotswolds, but it's a good few years since I was last there. Some attractive towns there. Good to see you enjoying the sun - we certainly have had a lack of it.
Steve that was great. Gorgeous weather. Can’t believe your missing winter already 🙈😂😂 Can’t believe you’ve never been to the Cotswolds before. Glad you liked it 😁👍
That was a most enjoyable film which I’m watching in the Hovel drinking a glass of Theakston Old Peculiar. Great to see Karen on the swing and to mistake that bloke for you even though he had a different coloured top on🤣 Good news that Ipswich are promoted and several Trippple C are over the moon. If only all my Sunday afternoons could be as good as this film. Cheers Mike 👍
Thanks Mike......Karen was a bit worried that the swing would not have taken her weight...i told her to go for it...it would have done wonders for the channel if it had snapped...yes that bloke was about a foot taller than me with a full head of hair, i think she may be losing the plot...i am not really a football fan, not since the 70's but good to see them go up...are you still sitting on the stairs?...you should get yourself a pouffe...
Beautiful part of the world the Cotswolds Cleeve hill summit is disappointing isn’t it but more than made up for with cleeve cloud 👌🏻☀️🏔️ And a pint of London Pride (we’ll earned Steven 👍) Nice to see the Malverns to the north too that will be your Worcestershire top mate 👍 Enjoyed this one best wishes to you both mate Simon 🤠👍🏔️
@@atrampinthehills.841 it’s fab you’ll love it you’ll need two cars though as there are no buses 🚌 from chase end hill back north to great Malvern 🏔️🏔️🏔️🏔️ Or you could go end to end and back again done that a few times it’s a good day out 🥵 ATB Simon

Great walk with lots of open spaces. Only 1 & quarter hours away for us in Bristol. Loved the lone tree with the benches all around. 😊😊
Thanks Martin..we had lunch at the tree, being watched by a dribbling dog.
