Tried the 26g vanilla shake and instantly fell in love with it!! The vanilla punch is enough for me. Just bought several other flavors at a local grocery store with a special promotion!!
I found this video while searching for "good tasting" protein shakes, and within 5 seconds I found myself thinking, "Well, she's just adorable!" Thanks for sharing! G
I prefer the chocolate and vanilla on their own but caramel is better in coffee. I'm so happy I found these, I've been drinking Fairlife milk for about a year while on a weight loss program but missed chocolate milk. The regular FL chocolate milk is 10 points per bottle, the chocolate protein shake is only 3-5 depending on which version you get and it helps me stay full.
Stumbled across this product the other day and I'm always skeptical (whole foods eater here) but I bought 1 25% and 1 42% chocolate and I was blown away at the taste! I started to search to see if it is truly a healthy product when i came across your video. The stuff is amazing...
Rhonda, I am a total whole food gal myself but sometimes life gets super busy and supplements can help! Compared to other protein shakes, so far these are my fav… also I’m so happy you stumbled over here 🥰
Thank you for this review. I just had labs done and I'm crazy low on protein. (like crazy crazy low). I was going to look into some protein drinks to have - maybe after a workout. I'm trying to tone/build muscle, and unfortunately a new Rx caused me to gain some weight, so I'm trying to get back down to my average size. Anyhoo, I'm going to give these a try. I generally avoid dairy milk because it can hurt my stomach sometimes, but I'm hoping this will be ok. I'm going to give it a try. I'm going to check out your other videos too to see if you have other protein shake reviews.
Thank you so much for watching!!! Let me know what your thoughts are of them. It would cut some protein but you could split one shake and mix some almond milk or plant milk to reduce any dairy symptoms , as your body gets used to it?
I picked up the 26g chocolate core power yesterday and I am OBSESSED. I have never found a protein shake I like, but it literally taste just like the delicious Borden chocolate milk...without the lactose. So glad I found it!
if you try the core power you'll be ruined for Nutrition Plan. I drank Nutrition plan for at least 1 year before I tried core power. I tried to go back to Nutrition plan, but core power chocolate is too damn good and now I frown when all I have left in the fridge is chocolate nutrition plan.
My bariatric surgeon and their nutritionist have advised me to stick with the Nutrition Plan type as I have to drink 2 a day and a high protein low carb meal for dinner. I'm trying to get under 500 so the bariatric doctor can perform my gastric sleeve surgery. So far I have the chocolate which has been really good! It doesn't have that weird taste like Premier Protein shakes does. Based on your rating, I'm going to have to try the vanilla one next when I go pick up some more from Sam's Club. Thanks for this!
Always good to listen to your doctor. Especially with that surgery. Make sure to get all your vitamins and let me know what you think about the vanilla! Thank you for watching and good luck with everything !!!
Hello there awesome video! I use 30g protein drink every day after workout and sometimes drink 2 bottles a day. Do you think cellulose gel or any of the additives make it unhealthy for sustained use?
Whatever works for you, if they fit in your budget. I recommend most of peoples protein come from Whole Foods for the other nutrition , vitamins, minerals that are found in lean proteins, nuts, seeds, tofu, etc. these shakes are great to supplement and get an extra 30 grams during the day
To me the 42g vanilla core power is the best drink in the market by far. But it’s literally out of stock in Amazon and the chocolate one is trash. But since you mentioned strawberry is 9.5 out of 10 I will try that one from now
This video was great I wish you all who making these kinds of videos will go over the ingredients anything can taste good but is it healthy for you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thanks for reviewing these products. I use the vanilla shake in my coffee. I usually use an ounce or 1/1/4 ounces per cup and drink 2 cups of coffee daily. I think the nutrition plan and the 26g shake are virtually the same calories. If you look at the size of the bottles, the nutrition plan is 11.5 oz for 150 calories, while the vanilla shake is 170 calories in a 14 oz bottle. I like premier protein but it has a lot more ingredients that I figure I don't need.
I'm not a protein shake type at all, but I tried these and have been buying them. My only concern is the sucralose, which I only noticed after the fact. I don't ingest anything with sucralose at all so I was saddened to find out that these contain sucralose. Your thoughts on this Nicole?
Nice review. But I’m confused. How does the meal plan one have 30 grams of protein with less calories than the 170 calorie one which has 26 grams? And it’s cheaper. Is there a difference in the type of protein that they are using or the filtration method?
great vid! Wouldnt the best "bang for the protein" be the 150 cals - 30g protein bottle over the 170 cals - 26g protein bottle? or would it be the 230 cals bottle for 42g of Protein? hmm.
It would be helpful if you gave your recommendation for the use of each product. For example, bulking or cutting or maintenance. This is the first video I've watched of yours. I love these products. Your energy is great. Keep up the great work.
Today, I bought the Core Protein in chocolate from my convenience store in my city. And let me tell ya, I mixed it with my brewed coffee, vanilla, 2 pats of butter, and a bit of cream. The chocolate flavor from the shake tastes so good in my coffee, that I would make it again. Next time, I'm getting the vanilla and salted caramel flavors. Really, really good in coffee.
I have been drinking the salted carmel one. Love it. I've been having a banana with it for my pre workout meal. I have a breakfast/lunch after my workout.
I make my strawberry banana smoothie with the Fairlife Nutrition plan chocolate and add collagen peptides...it's pretty good, but it sounds like I need to track down the vanilla flavor. :) Thank you for the info!!
Which of these would you suggest for a breakfast smoothie??? I use 6oz or so of almond milk in my breakfast fruit and supplements smoothie. I'm a truck driver and I'm having a hard time with 1 gallon almond milk jug in my tiny refrigerator lol. I could definitely manage a couple of these in my fridge.
Great video and info! Love the regular strawberry, vanilla and chocolate shakes but it's so hard finding them on a regular basis. I will now try the Core power ones since they have them at Costco.
@@Nicolehoskens Not bad! I actually bought a case and may try to add a few frozen blueberries to make it a real smoothie. I do like the regular one but the strawberry banana is pretty good too!

I wouldn’t necessarily make a protein shake ever a meal replacement as most people will feel hungry very soon. Anything under 250 can really be categorized as a snack

Great review. Did you notice that there where (at least until recently) a couple versions of the 26g drinks - one with sugar and one with artificial sweeteners. Do you have a preference. And why not just drink the 30g choc meal replacement over the 26g protein drink…do these two different classifications really mean anything?
I did not notice that, with sugar vs artificial. Also with 26 vs 30 , there are slight differences and the 30g one is found at Costco while the 26 grams are found at local grocery stores(at least where I’m at) Both good options with a good amount of protein if you are in the go! and the classifications I think were more for marketing and trying different formulas
Of course I recommend Whole Foods first but convenient foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle. So yes and also make sure you are prioritizing Whole Foods during other parts of the day 💛

Have you been able to find the vanilla in the nutrition plan shakes. I literally can find it anywhere them anywhere. Only the chocolate seems to be available idk what's going on.
@@Nicolehoskens One of the major issues surrounding Ace-K is that it contains the carcinogen methylene chloride. According to studies, headaches, depression, nausea, mental confusion, liver effects, kidney effects, visual disturbances, and cancer can all result from long-term exposure to methylene chloride
@@A.S.R thank you for this info. I can’t speak on it but will look into it more. If I had to guess it is correlated with amount and having a shake will be minimallllll vs all the other carcinogenics in foods and our environment. But great to be aware and thoughtful in your food choices 😊
@@A.S.R dose makes the poison. The evidence on the safety of artificial sweeteners is pretty compelling. Unless you’re consuming unholy amounts you’ll be fine.
I eat 180-200g a day (I’m male) because I’m addicted to lean meats, so I usually don’t need supplementation. The only exception is on Friday’s since I don’t eat meat on Fridays (Catholic), so I usually have some whey mixed in Greek yogurt and or milk to hit the targets I can’t hit with eggs, egg whites, and dairy (not a big fish fan tbh). I’ll have to try these for variety
I think so! It will at the very least help build and repair muscle after a workout which is very important with weight loss. Also if you are doing a hard workout make sure to have carbs like a piece of fruit or something so the protein is used for muscles and not for energy ☺️
I def recommend talking to a dietitian to make sure it works for you! But this is a great protein source for those needing to increase it during the day. It’s basically milk that has been filtered to increase protein. Great question but lots of variables 💕
Totally understand this perspective. I share ingredient lists a lot in my videos when I feel it adds value. There are a lot of people who fear monger ingredients that are not researched back and my goal is to remove guilt and fear around foods.
These could be a great option to add to snacks as they are lower in carbohydrates and have protein and some fat to help stabilize your blood sugar. If concerned def bring it up to your endocrinologist or doctor or dietitian 💕
Taste like complete ass would not recommend. I’ve never had a better protein shake than core power. It genuinely makes me skeptical if there is even protein in them that’s how good they taste
Of course it’s better to have Whole Foods. Yet, It is very difficult to only stick to Whole Foods, sometimes “processed foods” are easier or convenient. Not all processed foods are the same, that’s why it’s important to read the nutrition facts and ingredients and buy things you are comfortable with. Also I would recommend these as snacks and not meal replacements. Thank you so much for watching and your comment!
Where does the protein come from in the fairlife nutrition plan shakes? There is no protein isolate in the ingredients. Just milk. Something doesn’t add up…
Hey Jonathan! throughout different videos I touch on the myths and facts about up-to date research with sugar substitutes. Currently most studies are done with animals or more correlation studies and not causation. Soon there will be a video touching on more ingredients. Of course it’s always better to choose Whole Foods and not rely on processed foods with real sugar or sugar subs ☺️ thanks for your feedback!
You def could! Great amount of protein. If it’s an intense workout , I recommend adding some carbs on the side to replenish energy stores and use the protein to build muscle 💛 hope that makes sense. And this is very general recs too :)
I def recommend to use as a snack not meal replacement as you may find yourself super hungry after and that wouldn’t be beneficial! Also love adding a banana and ice and this in a blender for a mid day sweet snack!
These are the best tasting on the market ...my next choice is premier protein shakes...but the chocolate and caffee mocha ones only. The vanilla ones are nasty......the muscle milk brand is god awful.
@@Nicolehoskens trust me..I would strongly recommend the caffee mocha. That's the best tasting one overall. But The vanilla flavor is equivalent to every single muscle milk shake I've ever had... DISGUSTING!!!!!!......it tastes like you're actually drinking a dry, chalky ass protein bar🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Thank you for watching! There is a lot of fearmongering about sucralose and other ingredients added to food. There is no current reliable research that shows Sucralose can cause harm.

@@Nicolehoskens have you looked into ACE K and would you still recommend this being a dietician?
I eat 180-200g a day (I’m male) because I’m addicted to lean meats, so I usually don’t need supplementation. The only exception is on Friday’s since I don’t eat meat on Fridays (Catholic), so I usually have some whey mixed in Greek yogurt and or milk to hit the targets I can’t hit with eggs, egg whites, and dairy (not a big fish fan tbh). I’ll have to try these for variety
I totally agree, food first then supplements. You have to find out what works for you ☺️ Yes try then out and let me know your thought!
Do any of them contain caffeine besides the coffee one?
I think just the coffee one. The others do not have it on the label
I’m looking to loose weight would drinking this help after I’ve worked out?
I think so! It will at the very least help build and repair muscle after a workout which is very important with weight loss. Also if you are doing a hard workout make sure to have carbs like a piece of fruit or something so the protein is used for muscles and not for energy ☺️
Love this review, you’re very knowledgeable with this. I’ll go buy a chocolate flavoured one at Costco 🙂
Thank you for watching and commenting!!!! Lmk your thoughts
Love the strawberry one !! But it does cost a a bit
I know! The cost makes it a treat purchase now for me lol
Do you think an elite athlete is fine drinking these everyday after a workout?
I def recommend talking to a dietitian to make sure it works for you! But this is a great protein source for those needing to increase it during the day. It’s basically milk that has been filtered to increase protein. Great question but lots of variables 💕
Let’s tAlk about the ingredient list-not just the flavor
Totally understand this perspective. I share ingredient lists a lot in my videos when I feel it adds value. There are a lot of people who fear monger ingredients that are not researched back and my goal is to remove guilt and fear around foods.
Pls review the ingredients as well!
Fairlife drinks are being bought up at stores and sold online price gouged. Sad
I could not agree more! Def bought some of those for this video🙃
Are these lactose free?
So is this an option for Type 2 diabetes?? I just started drinking them & want to make sure I’m on the right track. Ty
These could be a great option to add to snacks as they are lower in carbohydrates and have protein and some fat to help stabilize your blood sugar. If concerned def bring it up to your endocrinologist or doctor or dietitian 💕
Don’t take anyones word. Drink a bottle and check your blood sugar about 30 minutes after.
What do you think of muscle milk
Taste like complete ass would not recommend. I’ve never had a better protein shake than core power. It genuinely makes me skeptical if there is even protein in them that’s how good they taste
hey is this okay to have these shakes for weight loss. Afterall these are still processed
I cant beleive this i love fairlife. But i had no idea they made protien shakes
might as well get sponsored from fairlife because you sold me
Hahahahah thank you Joseph! Lmk what ya think !
Could this be used as a meal replacement? Such as breakfast?
Great question ! I think it’s a great snack but will leave people hungry as a meal
Which one would you recommend for a meal replacement for weight loss
Hm is it just me or is the 42g protein figure seem a little high? Have never seen that much protein in such a small amount of milk...
Where does the protein come from in the fairlife nutrition plan shakes? There is no protein isolate in the ingredients. Just milk. Something doesn’t add up…
It’s milk that has been filtrated! Basically taking out extra fat, water, carbs
W video! i think u forgot to rate the coffee one tho👍🏾
Oh my gosh! Hahaha I’m giving it a 7.5 it’s pretty good! Love that it has caffeine ☺️
It's crazy it doesn't need to be refrigerated. The vanilla is great.
You should review the ingredients....sucralose and maltodextrin disregulate your gut microbiome and cause a mound of health issues.
Hey Jonathan! throughout different videos I touch on the myths and facts about up-to date research with sugar substitutes. Currently most studies are done with animals or more correlation studies and not causation. Soon there will be a video touching on more ingredients. Of course it’s always better to choose Whole Foods and not rely on processed foods with real sugar or sugar subs ☺️ thanks for your feedback!
awesome video, you are delightful !
Thank you for watching CB!!
The vanilla one tastes like Wendy’s Vanilla Frosty 100%
Totally!
Which one?
What about the carageenan?
The only reason I’m here
YOU ARE AMAZING!!! ❤️😍 GREAT VIDEO!!! 😍❤️ LOVE IT!!! ❤️❤️❤️ NEW SUBSCRIBER!!! ❤️😍🎉💥
Charita !!! You made my day! I’m glad you enjoyed the video 💕💕💕 have a wonderful day!
Can u use the nutrition plan one for after a workout?
You def could! Great amount of protein. If it’s an intense workout , I recommend adding some carbs on the side to replenish energy stores and use the protein to build muscle 💛 hope that makes sense. And this is very general recs too :)
@@Nicolehoskens Okay thanks!
Please pleeeeaseee can someone explain how the hell can they put 42 grams of proteins in that small shake?
the same company that was in trouble for abusing baby calves smh
I can’t ever find the strawberry one. It’s my favorite. I only found it once at a gas station. Never found it again.
I am also having a really hard time finding it now too! Really bummed about it
Amazon
Great information!
Thank you Jane! Thanks for watching!
Super channel and produits good luck dear princess❤❤❤❤😊
Thank you Sun! Hope you are having a great weekend 🥰
Hello, I am a new subscriber😃. Can you put a link to buy milk?
I need to add one! I’ll look for some, they are on Amazon. Also thank you so much for subscribing! Welcome 🤗
I love the vanilla
So good !
I did the banana thing today for lunch
I don’t care how they treat their animals just the final product
Great video I’m 21 years old I’ve been drinking these for 3 years my favorite is the vanilla protein
Thank you Jamarl!! The vanilla is good! Great choice 🎉🎉🎉
@@Nicolehoskens np and I agree
how can i use these for weight loss?
I def recommend to use as a snack not meal replacement as you may find yourself super hungry after and that wouldn’t be beneficial! Also love adding a banana and ice and this in a blender for a mid day sweet snack!
Great video! Except I did not see a rating for the coffee one :(. But judging by your woo woo woo woo. I would guess it's a 9.5 or higher? 🤪
I know! I can’t believe I forgot in the moment !!! 😂😂 it was very good! I’ve drank it multiple times after
I was wondering the same thing, no rating but she liked it!
tysm
You are so welcome! Hope you are enjoying your week
went to Costco and got me the chocolate one and wow soooo good111
Hahahaha RIGHT?!?! And you got a deal with finding it at Costco!
These are the best tasting on the market ...my next choice is premier protein shakes...but the chocolate and caffee mocha ones only. The vanilla ones are nasty......the muscle milk brand is god awful.
Terrell I need to try more premier… I tried the vanilla once and was not happy Lolol 😂 caffe mocha sounds delightful
What about the sucralose??? Can you say T O X I C??
Thank you for watching! There is a lot of fearmongering about sucralose and other ingredients added to food. There is no current reliable research that shows Sucralose can cause harm.
and the carageenan....🤢
@@ziggyfibonaccistardust8350shut up
@@ziggyfibonaccistardust8350 there’s nothing wrong with it, so what are you complaining about like a baby?
@@ziggyfibonaccistardust8350 my grandma is 92 and drinks carrageenan protein shakes every day, so what are you crying about? Lol.
Did she even drink any of them?
I def didn’t show every sip so y’all wouldn’t have to watch every second or this video would have been 2-3x as long lol
