Cedric Ford even tho dega isn’t considered to be as good or better then su or jsu, i like how theyp participate in a lot of parades and botb, shows they’re trying to get better

I know we need film crews to film the footage, but there has to be a better way, especially on narrow streets like this. It restricts the movement of the drum majors especially. This band is my bias; I love them. Just stating my opinion.
Is there a meaning to the moves they all do? Watched a number of these vids now and each group although dressed the same, some do different things. Anyway great admiration to you all, very hard work, even if you enjoy it, I have actually hummed the bands song lol when doing things.

I don't even know why these Marching Bands even have Woodwind Sections as there is NO way they can be heard from the front where they are located lmao. Do like Ohio State and have only Brass and Percussion.
It may be true you can't hear woodwinds but they balance the sound out
No HBCU band wanna be look or sound like a PWI band
You really can hear the Piccolos and Saxes wow get ya ears checked
@@baribone98 correct.....when the camera operator went all the way to the back of the Band....I did say they couldn't be heard from their location when listening from the front. The Band is stacked for optimum power, rather than any melodic purpose. When the Bands do Battles on the street, the Trumpets, Baritones and Mellophones take front and center stage. When the Bands are in seated in the stands at Football games....the Woodwinds are up front, usually 2-3 rows...and THEN they can be heard without going and searching for them. My ears...even at their age...work very well and I also spent 10 years in Marching (4 years as Head Drum Major...2 in HS and 2 in College) and Jazz Bands, along with being in the Orchestra. The only thing I wish I had been able to take advantage of is, marching in a DCI organisation such as my favourite to this day....The Madison Scouts.

SWAC DCI Sooner League Assistant director and all you have to is listen try to hear the band without them like in the performance when is rained then you can compare the band with it's self.....with those ear we know why you was a drum major DCI and PWIhas tanted your ears. How does a Marching band implement PIANO AND ELECTRIC GUITAR O YEA DCI PLEASE SIR study your own

Good stuff, last time I seen this band was when SU was covering dirt on them boys smh. They just don't hit the same, but glad to see they are live and well. Man SU gave them an ole Joe Jackson ass-whooping, I still cry for them
