In this video, I'll be reacting to another song by JINJER called Teacher, Teacher! After listening to Pisces, I had to listen to another song by them, and this recommendation was absolutely incredible! If you haven't heard this song by them, you need to check this out!

They have a song called "home back". It's about losing their home in East Ukraine due to war. I would recommend to read the lyrics before reacting.

Good reaction, thank you. Jinjer shines live. I highly recommend reacting to "Who is Gonna be the One" (LIve, Napalm Records), "Perennial" live at Wacken, and "Pit of Consciousness" live in Kyiv. For those who what to help Ukraine, find a fundraiser you trust and make a donation. Jinjer has one on their site. 🌻💙💛

That distorted sound at the end is actually Eugene doing nasty things with his bass.😁 Great reaction, and yes, badassery is a word, it's even listed at Merriam-Webster!🤘

Great reaction man! Keep 'em coming. "Perennial live at Wacken Open Air", "Who Is Gonna Be The One live", "Cloud Factory official live video" and Tatiana's one take vocal of "Judgement and Punishment"

You are correct, Jinjer loves using multiple time signatures in their songs.

I think it's pretty obvious with most of their songs but with Pisces it's rarely picked up on. A friend of mine is a jazz singer and she was totally shocked when I counted it out from the intro to the first chorus going 7/8, 6/8, 4/4. She said it just felt so natural to her that she didn't notice the changes at all.

Don't you hate technology sometimes. 🤣
Perennial live from Wacken 2019 or Vortex from their newest record are good ones to try next.

Love these! Who Is Gonna Be the One live (for the BASS); I Speak Astronomy; Sit, Stay, Rollover; Vortex; Wallflower.
They don’t have a bad song. Tool is the only other band that’s done that for me 🖤

Just to blow your mind a little more.. Vlad the drummer (a classically trained pianist) can and does at times play 2 different time signatures at once..

Amazing piece of music! One of their masterpieces. Why did you took so long to come back to this amazing band? I´m almost 40 years, metalhead all my life and it´s some long years since a band mezmerized me like this, pure talent! Try "Perenial" live at Wacken 2019 to see them do all this on stage, it´s even better! Peace.

3:56 that isn't boomer talk, that's a straight fact if we're talking Top40 or even Top100 pop music. Jinjer is a contemporary band and there's loads and loads of super colourful, intricate music out there, more than there ever has been and easier to get a hold of too, so it's not a "these days" thing per se.
13:12 Yup that's Eugene strumming the bass like a guitar. He's holding the root note and strums two more notes above: a minor 3rd and major 6th (strictly speaking minor 11 and major 14 since they are an octave higher) resulting in a tritone between the two, which is the most dissonant interval there is. I just love, love, love how spicy yet fitting that part is.

Also the sound you're talking about at the end is the mudvayne influence , ppl refer to that kind of bass lick as "BR BR DING"

I would like to request Home Back, it's very informative with what's going on in their home country. It's also time to do a live video. I suggest Pit of Consciousness in Kiev. Everyone does Perennial, or Who is Going to be the One. They are good songs, but I believe the others are better.

You gotta see TATI go beast mode,,, "who is gonna be the one" live is the video,,plus Eugene Abdukhanov is the greatest bassist in modern music and that song shows it

This piece is mostly 4/4, lotsa syncopations. Prices i.e. is 3/4 to 4/4 = 7/4 or 7/8. Time signature changes are their repertoire, I love 7/8 to 3/8 changes.

Nightwish- I’ll play this playing New World. Understand
Jinjer- I’ll play this playing Pokémon. 😅
My favourite Jinjer bass-line is from one of their new songs. Wall Flowers. Dope video too.

Jinjer are selling some t-shirts on their merch store at the moment. All proceeds to Ukranian charities. I was having issues commenting before and think You Tube may have disliked the external link. Official Jinjer merch is easy to google though.

I watch a lot of reaction channels especially when it is to jinjer and I'd like to offer some constructive criticism. If you're interested in doing better and can see that I'm just trying to help, keep reading. If you're sensitive or just don't care you can stop hear but here's an honest opinion.
    Lazy.
Not being negative here but bro, the best part of a teacher teacher reaction is seeing the reaction. Especially at the end. People definitely want a genuine reaction and I can appreciate that that's why you just let it roll with audio only but without the video, there's no reaction. Not a single reaction Channel on XM radio. I would've made a short announcement at the beginning that you had some difficulty with video and had to rerecord. Still genuine because you're not trying to sell it as genuine and people would still watch it and enjoy your "review" of the song. I know I would. Just my 2 cents bro. I only took the time to write this because other than that, it was a good reaction. We can see your appreciation for the band and the music (when we can see you) and that makes for good reactions. Keep doing your thing bro and ima keep watching

Hey, I like your reaction/review of this video, but I see that this was the last time you reacted to Jinjer and that recently, you have reacted almost exclusively to female Asian bands (Korean, I believe). You have to get back to some Jinjer Ukrainian metalcore with the vocal goddess, Tatiana! 😆 I would recommend either the “live from Wacken” version of Perennial or the official videos of Wallflower or Home Back (which is about the chronic fighting in eastern Ukraine…their homeland…but it has a whole new meaning since Putin’s illegal all-out invasion of Ukraine).
