This is a legendary DM song they always play it on there tours. My favorite version is on there 101 tour live at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena California playing in front of 80,000 fans. If you like a more rocky sound DM changes there sound a bit i recommend the song "I Feel You" DM totally change there look during that time

Depeche Mode are legendary but I wouldn't say they are a guitar band you should check out Behind the wheel from 101 live concert played in the Rose Bowl in 1988

They’re a minimalist guitar band that maximizes the sound. And Behind the Wheel is a terrific example.

I’m typically here for THE greatest band ever, THE Grateful Dead, but DP is absolutely fantastic prolly my 3rd fave band. I’ve seen them numerous times, so worth it! So glad you reacted to them, please react to more.

Well, of course not my kind of thing. Obviously, I've heard of the band and judging by the crowd, they were pretty popular. Just not for me though!

Nothing wrong with dM not being to your tastes. However, their music is quite varied with a lot of crossover appeal to fans of all types of music. They’ve made music the right way - in their own iconic way - and have quietly matured into the godfathers of alt rock. My suggestion: Don’t judge on one song (although how you can’t feel NLMDA is beyond me! 😂).
