I think she was in the right letting him know that you don't block the scale for 30 minutes!! My concern is for her, and what could have happened to her if it had been a different driver!!!! In today's world it could have been a completely different outcome.

She was 💯 right. There was a jackass at the Littlefield, AZ TA parked his DHL truck in FRONT of the closest pump to the store. As drivers were waiting to get into pumps to fuel. I did two fuelings once I got to a pump. Went and parked, got my fuel receipts, went to Del Taco ordered and waited for three other orders get served before mine. Come to find out, that POS was sitting in the Del Taco stuffing his face while his truck was blocking the pump. Zero common courtesy or accountability in our Country today. Lazy ass could have used exercise. Finally moved his truck as I was walking back to mine. Ridiculous.
The lot at that new TA is HUGE. No excuse!

I have scaled and adjusted my tandem after pulling off the scale but it was no one behind and i would never block another driver, i could understand a few minutes but that's ridiculous, truck stops should start issuing a $500 fine for anybody that does that

He was planning to reverse back onto the scale after he took 8 attempts to get his tandems set correctly...I see this all the time at a small local truck stop/scale near me....then they act like they don't speak English when you reprimand them...

I was bullied at a receiver, he said I couldn't Park here I couldn't park there I couldn't park anywhere I never got my tandem slid paid $100 ticket going through the weigh station... I'll never let other drivers bully me.

The problem at the scale is that newer drivers don't know the unwritten rules of trucking. They are taught by newer drivers who don't know.

With the Huge influx of foreign drivers in recent years i've seen a big change thats totally up-rooting the way we've always done things out here. We are being inundated with a foreign culture of trucking. Most have NO desire to adapt to our long proven way of doing things, america is rapidly becoming a third world country, we are losing our identity, especially trucking. I understand the young lady & i've done the same thing before, but now i'll ask the facility staff if they can handle it first. Safer that way.

There are bastards like this all the time. weighed ourselves and went to the toilet, wash, eat, etc. This is the most common disrespect for the drivers around you. And then we see stories with uncoupled trailers and nails under the wheels

This just happened to me, last week. Was a female, I'm a female. When Love's said, ok, we got it - pull off and come in. I retorted with, "I want to but some idiot is blocking the scale."
When I went in (while parked on the scale (driver was nowhere to be found), the Love's guy was snickering and saying she heard me say it and was pissed. Oh was she?! When I went back out, the truck was still there, but I was able to maneuver to the right, where the pumps were. I was tight on time that day, too!! Argh.
As you said Alex, we don’t know what happened before this video was recorded. What that driver done was WRONG!!! I’ve been in this woman truckers shoes. I’ve had this same situation at a fuel island not too long ago. Yes, it’s getting too dangerous out there to confront another driver like this. So many have been killed, but this costs other drivers hundreds and thousands of dollars a year. The problem is companies will hire ANYONE just to fill a drivers seat.

I used to look foward to stopping for fuel. I could empty my trash can, stretch my legs. Not anymore, I now dread stopping for fuel. I know by the time I pull out my blood pressure is going to be through the roof.
