Yeah except now they have an obstacle of trauma creeping in. Trauma happens. I hope they learn the skills to handle life.!
He wasn't rocking/ whimpering when he purchased those guns
400,000,000 GUNS in AMERICA
-345,000,000 PEOPLE in AMERICA
=55,000,000 MORE GUNS than PEOPLE
And that number is only registered guns. There are probably 100 million more other there
As the NRA said, more guns make you safe. AmeriKKKa should be the safest country in the world
Drug overdose deaths far exceed gun deaths. This is a media manufactured crisis.
They're literally lying around in a lot of households. I was in a Cabela's in Virginia and went over the gun section, where I heard a MAGA gun seller telling shoppers, "This is the gun you use to get the mail. This is the gun you use to cut the lawn. This is the gun you use when you go shopping...." The paranoia among some people in this country is beyond amazing.
@@Powerule23 Kyle Rittenhouse defended himself against violent left wing rioters in Kenosha Wisconsin. Maybe if you left wingers would stop being so violent and hateful America would be a better place.
What a brilliant young woman, thinking on her feet, saved her class. Well done young lady.
That young lady gave the perfect response to the question "do you think you'll be able to come back to school". She said, "yes, because I'm not going to walk in fear". You go girl.
I’m so proud of these two incredible young women ❤👏🏾 well done young ladies
Those poor girls. His father ABSOLUTELY must be held accountable. No need to rock back and forth now. Should've been a better father.
Proud of the youg child, an earlier interview a teen said she won't go back to school. This teen said yes I won't live in fear so proud of her it takes heart and courage to say that ❤
So sad, you can tell the second girl is so much more traumatized. 🥺 I am so glad the father was charged.
The fact that both sisters have clearly been taught how to respond to gun violence is truly horrific. What are we doing as a country
You have to teach your kids to face facts. The world is dangerous and her parents taught her how to survive in it.
Not just gun violence but in general. Never open the door without looking through a window, peephole, etc.
She saved her class
He can’t claim bullying caused this….he’s new to the school, school started 2 weeks ago and he’s only been to school 2 days out of those 2 weeks….no one knows him and he doesn’t know them
He probably never had chance in life, not making excuses, just blaming his parents more.
Bullying has been proven to be a factor in many of these shootings. It doesn't have to be the same specific bullies who get shot. It's probably a combination of that and his poor parenting that created or exacerbated his mental health issues.
it could, bullying causes negative emotions that don't just vanishes the moment you chance school. depending on the person, it can potentially fuel their desire for committing such an act, due to being angry at the world, or parents or any reasons fueled with pain and anger. if it applies here, idk. still not an excuse.
There is an elephant in the room when it cones to school shooting that all of America seems to always ignore. Why is that?
I’d say two elephants. These kids are not shooting up malls or playgrounds, the focus is schools. In what other country do you need permission written on paper to go to the toilet? Where else has school police officers the way they have school janitors? Or three elephants: people with at times screamingly obvious mental health problems that the system does not address.
@@eh1702Permission to wander the halls during class is normal in a lot places. Full blown cops with guns, even if you call them resource officers whoever is just insane to me as a Brit. It’s sad you even need that…yet it somehow isn’t enough. You’ll be deploying the national guard if these carry on at this rate, and each generation seemingly gets more weird. Imagine what the kids of millenials & gen z will do in the future. So many parents just aren’t cut out for the role.
@@d.b.cooper1 I’m not an American, although I have lived there. What I am talking about is not “May I go to the bathroom, Miss?” It’s needing institutionalised, printed “hall passes” with a time written on them.

“I am not going to walk in fear.” Powerful statement made by this beautiful child. She and her sister is going to become something special. I pray that their parents ensure that they are receiving intensive treatment. May God bless them both.

Why was the father not charged with 4 counts of murder? What father gives their son an AR 15?
he has been arrested and charged with that, manslaughter and many counts of endangering a child
Because those two charges relate to the 2 minors
Teacher: Let him back in
Bre: No, he has a gun
So horrible. The girl had great sense and was taught well. Children and teachers, let alone anyone else, should not have to deal with this shit and live in fear.
There are some people that has no business having children.
WOW thank GOD she did not open the door for that monster. I'm glad he and his father are being charged together and he's being charged as an adult.
Good thing she didn’t open the door.
1. Thanks to Bre and Her Mama, because they saved lives that day.
2. The way Malasia said " we had to drag our teacher, paused...and then said, our teacher's Body..." Chilling
Those sisters…their mom taught them right. I hope they’re able to get the necessary mental health help they deserve (as well as the other kids in the school).
These poor children!!!! Having to be trained for this. And then having to watch their teacher die. 💔🙁🤬
She always looks at the door and considers it a habit. THAT'S A FUCKING LIFESAVING HABIT!!!! 👏 God bless you, young lady
Her mother taught her well. She followed her instincts and didn't let him in
Media needs to report more on Brea Jones' actions ❤ SHE SAVED 30 FAMILIES!!!
These kids shouldn’t have to go through this! Glad the parent is held fully responsible for this crime.
Wow!! These young ladies are so brave. I wish I was there to give them a huge hug! Asking for a hedge of protection from head to toe for "ALL", families involved!!❤🤲😇🕊️
Their little baby faces. It’s so sad.
The fact that Brea mimicked exactly how he pull up the gun it shows how traumatic that moment was for her and it will probably stuck with her for the rest of her life
those girls parents have instilled great instincts and life saving training in them at such a young age. I pray they can heal and move on. They did the best they could in each situation.
To the mama who raised those beautiful girls…you did something right ! Wise beyond their years ❤️
These two young people are heroic! This video highlights the extremes of parenting. The BEST: "I'm not going to walk in fear." and,"I ALWAYS look out the door, it's a habit my MOM TAUGHT ME."
The WORST: MY son has said he'd do a school shooting. I think I will buy him a gun. (UNBELIEVABLE!)
This is sooo sad. This world is horrifying and we need change. Prayers for all of them and their families
Thanks to her mother that always tell her to be vigilant before opening the door and she saw him pulling out the gun getting ready to do the mass shooting.
How can you give a fire murder arms to a 14 year old?
This father may be out of his senses
That girl is going to become an EMT I guarantee you. Go look at her in 5-8 years
That split second decision saved so many more lives. I hope through the shock and horror of what’s happened, she is fully able to grasp just how proud of herself she should be, and how proud and grateful an entire nation is of her ❤
Not only did the kid have problems, I'm sure his dad LED to those problems, and kept them going..
That 14-year-old is a hero! She is so well spoken and wise, her mother must be so proud! The sister is always amazing, "I will not walk in fear"
Bria Jones deserves a medal but will be ignored . Bria Jones ...bravo for you being a strong, critical thinking and courageous soul
This would never happen and has never happened here in Barbados 🇧🇧... Guess why... Gun laws are very strict and you have so much to go through before acquiring a gun.

“Barbados has experienced an increase in violent crime in recent years, including gun violence, armed robbery, sexual assault, gang-related shootings, and murder. I disagree; hearing these kids speak out is impactful, and first hand accounts tend to lend to a sense of urgency and brings more awareness, think of the impact of the Parkland students. These kids are thrust in the spotlight because adults have failed them, and they are speaking out because others never had the chance to, and they want to be heard to help change things.

Brave, quick thinking girls. Those two sisters did some deep critical thinking in the most horrific circumstances. But for the decision of the younger sibling to keep that door locked the outcome for her class would have been catastrophic. Thank God for them both. Mom and dad you should be very proud of your girls and the school administration should be very grateful. The armed resource officers however were true heroes. They stopped the shooter before he was able to do more killing. I'm so grateful they were there and went into the danger rather than trying to save themselves.
