This song still hits me hard, 20 years later. Scooter’s lyrics of needing to hide, but also wanting to be seen. To search for healing in understanding. The need to be validated and understand still drives us.
Man I feel ya! 13 ways to bleed on stage has given me a way to bleed out a different kind of pain to try and help cure My tragedy everyday for past 20 yrs! I love and am familiar with every song you requested! Keep em coming bro!
I'm so glad you did this song. Cold is one of my all time favorite bands. This is my go-to when I'm breaking down and need to cry it out. Brilliant lyrics and cathartic song.
Scooter Ward makes me feel less alone when he says the same things I'm thinking in lines like "Presence of people; not for me. I must remain in tune, forever. My love is music. And I will marry melody...." - that just HITS me. I feel that; I don't just hear it; I feel it. Music has been there for me when others turned their backs. Always been a fan of them.
In case you don't know, that other musician is Aaron Lewis from the band Staind, I highly recommend you check them out some of their best songs are, It's Been Awhile, For You, Outside, Fade, and Epiphany. Also, another Cold song I absolutely love is "Wasted Years"
Cold is my band. Found them on accident in highschool buying some mtv compilation record and just fot wicked was on it. Liked the song. Little did i know once i bought "13 ways to bleed on stage" it would not leave my cd player for a year. This band and that album was my everything for 2 years. That whole album all 13 songs are amazing and therapeutic. Gone away is another tear jerker. And most people wont recommend this song, but as a massive nirvana fan (got me into rock and playing the drums) you really should do THE DAY SEATTLE DIED. One of the best and not very subtle. But COLD, 1 of all time favorite band And that album is probably top 5 for me as its perfect no skips. Oh, and theyre from my city
This song got me through some difficult times. And now I'm going through the toughest time of my life I've found myself leaning on Cold again. Love this band.
Hi I'm Mike from the county of Cornwall England and I just want to say thank you for helping me with my mental health and depression. Your channel has helped me realize that I shouldn't worry about someone's thoughts about me, or what they say about me. It's about me fighting for me and the demons in my head. And because you look amazing and the content you make just makes feel more calm and I appreciate what you do. Mental health is no joke and I just want to say thank you.💪😩❤️
Scooter is my absolute favorite artist and that boy Aaron from staind is a monster of talent ....Scooter is my spirit animal and internal voice truly ...he sings everything I feel
I never got mental health issues with this song. I love this song so much and for me it always meant about the love of music and how it shapes our lives in every aspect. But this is why I think this song is so amazing. It means something special to anyone listening to it.
Saw them perform this live like.. idk... 2001 in an acoustic set in Orlando by UCF and it to this day as been the MOST heart shattering/heart warming experience of my life, everyday is a day i don't wanna be here and it has been muddled for years, but this song speaks volumes to me. ❤🩹
I'm reminded of the song "Bother" by Stone Sour. The lyrics are pretty depressing (sample below): "I wish I had a reason My flaws are open season For this, I gave up trying One good turn deserves my dying You don't need to bother I don't need to be I'll keep slipping farther But once I hold on I won't let go 'til it bleeds"
The first time I heard this song a few years ago I fell I to a deep depression I just couldn't take in that someone else felt the way I did..loved the video
Great song. One among so many. I can't say enough about Scooter. The human he is...his voice...the lyrics...the music. I like your take on it. Great recommendation. 🖤🤘 #coldarmy
I enjoyed this reaction very much and I am so happy to have found your chanel. I do have one opposing opinion. I have been playing violin for about 25 years. I think that the lyric "Take all these string, they call my veins. Wrap them around every ........ thing" was more of a metaphor for showing himself embracing his reality and relating it to something that he has learned to control and use for expression. just my humble opinion. keep up the great work.
Yea this song hits you hard, I have been in a dark place. I was scared to speak with people about it. This song reminds me of those very dark days.. The feeling .... its undescribeable. The worst part of have been there, is that it is so easy to get there again :(
BIG! Shot out to David Gaps!!!! I love and familiar with every song you've requested! we definitely share the same taste in music. And for me it's always been a little bit more than just music rather a daily tool or medication to bleed out all the demons pain hurt stress b*******institutionalized inside myself! So until I can be able to become a patreon please keep requesting! Much Love Amanda! Keep doing ya thang! You and your purpose is Divine!
Right now, I'm struggling really hard just to keep going. I don't know what brought me here. I haven't listened to this song in years. I'm recording a bass line to this if I can hold the tears back long enough. I just know one thing right now. I'm thankful that I found this.
When I went to a therapist and was on medication was some of the dark and worst times of my life, in my 20’s when I didn’t have a therapist and went off my meds I felt better and this is coming from someone who had my first suicide attempt in the 3rd grade
Music is life, plain and simple. No matter what you are going through in life, there is a song for it somewhere. My positive song that I listen to first every day is Smash Into Pieces "Rise Up"
You should give Heilung "healing" a listen Krigsgaldr was there first ever live performance, amazing. Anoana is there newest and newest music video. There music is Neolithic and Tribalistic originating from Germany and Norway. And as their name suggests it has a primal healing effect. I would love to see your reaction to something that is waaay outside the norm, but when has thinking in a box ever been fun :) love the reactions keep em coming.
The singing sounds like Seether. I kept wondering how you were doing the past couple of weeks. I was fighting the urge to ask how you were because I knew you had things to deal with. Just happy to know you are well.
Hey Amanda just recently watched some of your reaction videos and I really liked the messsage you sent in the video of would anyone care by citizen soldier and I was wonder if anyone had recommended I'm Not Okay by that same band because personally that song resonates with me and I would love to see your take on it
Hi Amanda, just a quick suggestion , although you probably already have your schedule planned, but Wednesday (20th) will be Chester Bennington's anniversary. It will be 5 years since we lost him. So maybe if you can fit it in, a tribute to him would be greatly welcomed i think 😁
A good projekt is never 'done' - The fun of it is allways the journey, not the end credits. You know you love doing something if are never really done with it. It's gonna sound dumb, but the feeling of 'I could have done that a bit better' is a good thing - you learn from it if you want to. Perfection isn't a thing.
I'm sorry! by Joyner Lucas saved my life! It and Ghost by Bad flower continue to keep me alive at my dark times! Music is the only antidote I've ever found for my Mental Misery!
Please do a reaction to the song bad weather by whiskey myers. I've put this same comment on probably 100 reactors videos and have been waiting as patient as possible for someone to do it.
Can I recommend a song to react.... "Adam Song - Blink 182" i just found your channel... Like u I'm still here after we tried. I'm doing better but this song means a lot to me
Hi Amanda. I want to see your reaction to Dimash. Please react to his song Know performed on New Wave . I'll be waiting for it. :) P.s.you are very pretty.

Hello Amanda! Please listen to the video to 'Fade' by 'Staind'. Thanks. XXOXO
Also, Amanda, please watch the music video from "Driven Under" by Seether. Thanks, sweetie.

Thank you! ❤ xoxoxo
I’m 38, so this takes me back to my high school years. I love Cold. 🙏🏼
I love this song. "Quiet Now" is a real tearjerker. I highly recommend it.
Quiet now kills me lately
This song still hits me hard, 20 years later. Scooter’s lyrics of needing to hide, but also wanting to be seen. To search for healing in understanding. The need to be validated and understand still drives us.

Show the world all that I have inside.

Cold was one of those bands in the later 90s when i was a teen that saved me. thanks for reacting to them!
This song got me through some difficult times. And now I'm going through the toughest time of my life I've found myself leaning on Cold again. Love this band.

This song hit hard I cried so hard I don’t know what to do anymore
This one was so personal to me. It still moves me 20 years later.
Crying can be the beginning of healing as it allows release. You're welcome here anytime whether to watch or to share. We're here for you.
@@MentalAmanda thank u very much I am grateful for your insight
I'm truly happy that you're back.
Surprised to see this.... Had this album when it came out.
We're to begin with cold end of the world different kind of pain just got wicked some starting songs they are a badass band
“Different kind of pain” and “just got wicked” are great. “No one” is another for me, but I think “Rain Song” would suit her.
Scooter is my absolute favorite artist and that boy Aaron from staind is a monster of talent ....Scooter is my spirit animal and internal voice truly ...he sings everything I feel
I’ve never stopped listening to this song.
This was the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard even years later it still touches my heart every time I hear it
I can remember when this song came out I wish I can go back. This year I will be turning 40yr and this song helped me a lot
Same
I saw them earlier this year in my hometown and bought the Bleed shirt, it says I need music, I will marry melody on it. It's my favorite song by Cold
I’m 52 and Cold is one of three most influential bands in my life!!
Keep fighting the good fight Amanda I admire you
Gone Away by Cold. Hits me in a hard way.
This and wasted years. I can't help but to think of what might have been.

I hope that you are healing and finding your way out of the darkness. I'm here if you need some guidance!
Thank you! God bless you!
Music and movies have helped me more than therapy and meds have ever done
You have the kindest eyes i have ever seen
This one of my favorite bands, albums and songs, the music spoke to me and helped me through some dark times
Cold has always had some really hard hitting songs. But when he hooked up with Aron Lewis for that song it was a wow.
Great song. One among so many. I can't say enough about Scooter. The human he is...his voice...the lyrics...the music. I like your take on it. Great recommendation. 🖤🤘 #coldarmy

Love your point of view!
I always got the music is what helps you deal with life.
12:00 - oh yeah. I know that well... But i try that no one sees the wounds. But bl**d*ng can calm me down. It is like a drug.
Hopefully we can help you find strings to pic instead of veins.

I love the classical instruments because I was a nerd and loved classical music
He's completely stalking about the 6 strings on his guitar. They are his world if you couldn't tell ❤️

Great band

I hope you get connected with someone who can guide you. We're here for you!

Listen to Black Sunday by Cold 😢
Please do a reaction to the song bad weather by whiskey myers. I've put this same comment on probably 100 reactors videos and have been waiting as patient as possible for someone to do it.
Actually "bleeding" means showing emotions trough music. Veins are strings and bleeding is lyrics. They both need music to show their emotions.
“Send in the clowns”
Can I recommend a song to react.... "Adam Song - Blink 182" i just found your channel... Like u I'm still here after we tried. I'm doing better but this song means a lot to me
can you please react to bring my home by whitechapel?
Hi Amanda. I want to see your reaction to Dimash. Please react to his song Know performed on New Wave . I'll be waiting for it. :) P.s.you are very pretty.
Cold army!!!
