So useful, thank you so much for this video. Living 13 years in the UK I had no idea intonation makes so much difference.

Thank you for this video. I've been looking out for a video about the musicality and entonation of the English language, and this is far and away the most complete that I've found to date. Any chance we can see more videos of this or maybe break this one down into a couple of videos?

Nice of you to cover this. When listening to non-natives speak English, those with an understanding of the intonations sound more natural to listen to. It also helps assure that the correct message is understood by the listener. Emphasis on the wrong word or syllable can change the meaning entirely. This should be very helpful to your students.
I hope there will be more joint videos by the "Dynamic Duo" of Harry and Charlie. Your witty banter is so entertaining - though I understand the challenges of trying to work together with such a large difference in time zones.

We are all strangers. We are all struggling to learn from each other. If you know so many people who find your accent strange, you need to show them how hard you are trying and trying to learn to communicate with them.
So, it is not you who is strange. But their attitude shows a lack of appreciation and understanding. You are not the one who needs to change - you are working hard and deserve much praise. I study "Español" and "Inglés" myself, and I know very little yet, but I don't care or worry about comments like that.
My Languages is Portuguese-Brazil, and I continue to study Portuguese, because, nobody knows everything. I study four languages. And if, one day,
someone comes to make fun of me, I don't speak their language correctly, I will ask if he or she knows all of your language, how many languages do you speak and if you know anything about mine? Why, I'm struggling to learn her language.
Congratulations to you that you are trying.

Just shared with my friend this video and she said she’s gonna practice her intonation with this video from tomorrow. P/S she’s in Poland and I’m from Vietnam so love from Vietnam ❤️❤️ love your channel. In fact, I’ve been sharing your channel with lots of friends of mine. Keep up the good work. Love the “fluency gym” like this

It would be terrific if you make a video where two or three people are participating in a conversation. After that you can analyze the different intonation patterns used and their nuances in meaning.
