as someone who just started playing tekken for a month (played 2D fighters for 12 years) and maining Lars in this game, I love seeing a high tier player using him

You need differing juggles based on the stage you are on to optimize Lars wall carry. This guy didn’t even seem like he was even consistent at the wall. In one match, he was at the wall, in good plus frames, and just backs away, giving up his wall pressure after a wall splat. I do understand that Lars’s wall combo has issues with the shoulder whiffing periodically, but as a decent player, its his responsibility research a suitable solution to that problem, which I have seen many other Lars players do. Also, I watched the matches, looking for evidence that this player can use while running DEN and saw no evidence that he knows how to use it, which impacts the type of juggles you are able to perform and wall carry. He goes into stance without knowing how to use it properly, randomly throwing out backlash without knowing what its supposed to be used for, etc. This Lars is ok, but he’s no L-Train, JST OR LMG_MOB.
i just went mad with steve against lucky chloe. i almost broke my face. its absolutely insane how hard you have to work against her while she uses strings and 5050 every second. its super fucking crazy. but at least i learned how to block and recognize her fucking low/mid 5050 spam so thats good.

I got some law tips 4 u Good luck with the dragon . In combo after 4 up 3. Dash into 4.3 DSS 3 u can always get 3+4.4 max damage and wall carry .if u wiff a WS4 if your DSS qwick enough u can 3+4.4 when the opponent go to wiff punish . Use more back turn great for pressure .law top 5 parry.
Do you know how hard all that stuff is. He has to actually dedicate himself to the character to be able to make it work. You're trying to get him killed, man.
@@mrshifty2503 law's parry isn't top 5. When you hit ranks raijin and up, it's useless, and will lose you the game more than anything, if you do it too much. When I fight a law who parries too much, I purposely keep pushing buttons when they party, so I can condition, the whole set, so even if I counter their party every time, they wouldn't try to do anything else, because it's in their muscle memory to keep doing it against me. I main law as well, so I know all his weakness, in detail. Gosain is currently, the best law player, and he rarely uses parries. It's too dangerous.

Yup-I was trying to say the same thing and, most importantly, give REASONS why I came to that conclusion in another comments, but in came the kiddies making their usual, In-their-feelings ad hominem attacks and trying to make my comment about me, which still does not address my points about the remedial nature of this Lars player. This Lars player performed well for two reasons: 1). Good defensive fundamentals 2). He knew the matchup well enough. He still did not know to low parry the second hit of junkyard though.
