Does anybody know what type of music this is called? The first couple of seconds is like what they'd play in inspirational videos, or like "This is your uplifting future!" kind of feel? (Especially with the bass drop) It's not just uplifting music (you'd find a bunch of relaxing piano) or electronic... idk.
When i became a splatoon fan , I began friendships that last long and if splatoon wouldn't exist, idk what i would've made out of my life, this game is a number 1 favorite of mine and this song just brings my memories back when i started to play splatoon 1, where i made alot of friends.....tbh, splatoon 1&2 has all brought us together in one like no other community

I had nothing better to do that night... I was hooked after winning my first match, and I've been in love with the series ever since. The story, music, characters, gameplay... I love it all. Hard to believe the Final Fest of Splat2 is nearly upon us. It feels like only yesterday I earned my Golden Toothpick, and only a little before that I defeated Octavio again. I remember joining a team of Dualie-wielding cephalopods in battle for Splatfest as the fourth member, thrown together by pure dumb luck and sticking together for the rest of the fest, all of us sticking with our Dualies for the flair and the clout, fighting as hard as we could - And winning, too! It’s hard to believe that was several Splatfests ago already. And back in the original, I can never forget the time when Rainmaker first came out and I carried it all the way to the opponent’s base by myself, using an Inkbrush trail I drew around the right side of Kelp Dome. Man, time flies. Here’s to the memories we made in both Splatoon and its sequel - May Final Fest be as fun as ever, and may the future of Splatoon shine bright regardless of its outcome!
There's something about this that's just so... nostalgic. Even before I'd listened to this remix multiple times over and over, the first time I heard it there was something special about the way all the elements work together. In particular, the main lead of the song sounds reminds me of a sort of happy birthday or new year sort of sound (as it's meant to be for Splatoon 2's first birthday) but the instrument over all feels familiar, while still sounding amazing. Especially with the contrast to the music box segments for Callie and Marie's solos to make them stand out, that section genuinely gives me chills (in a good way)... Anyway, enough about my weird emotional connection to this song Thanks for the amazing remix, and definitely the best take on Fresh Start I've heard!
While this song is on several of my music playlists (I might have a slight addiction to video game music...), this is the second time I've returned to this song as a sort of welcome on my birthday. Growing older, all the things that used to be so special start to lose their sense of wonder, but it's still nice to be reminded of a sense of positivity and celebration that I feel from listening to this song. I can't believe it's been 2 years since I found this remix, even longer since it was uploaded, and I'm sure it will stay a pleasant surprise showing up in my playlists for years to come

I love the remix, it still really represents the Squid Sisters' personalities for me, and for the first time, I didn't cry thinking about their live performance of Fresh Start (seriously, it's just sad ;u;) when listening to a remix of it.
