To be honest? I think this could be the thing that gets your channel back to its former glory. More stuff like this
I don't disagree. Part of why these videos are great is they give someone an instant idea of who Bill is. I first found him from his retrospectives and that was a similar feeling. Let's Plays are the best once you already love Bill but one-off videos like this are ideal for bringing new people in.
I feel like the channel is much bigger, and filled with more diverse, and interesting content than it was a year ago!
I actually listen to a 10 hour loop of Laundry Pool second day and Zora Hall when I sleep. It's beautiful

Honestly it sounds weird but after you have the captains hat, I kind of dig the ocean spider house. Objectives like that are good for chilling out and the stalchildren are actually really sweet once their backstory is revealed.
Great video, Bill! I'd be happy to hang out at Romani Ranch -- it feels like a neat little community, lots of open space and animals to hang out with. You should do more of these videos! I wanna know where you'd hang out in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

The cleared out ocean spider house. Basically a fully stocked underground bunker on the beach with an ancient forgotten library and a fire place.
Day 2 laundry pool is one of my favorites for both music and ambience

I’m also 35, and listening to you play just reminds me of all the games I played with my buddies and how we would spend hours talking about Zelda. Ocarina was the first game I absolutely mastered, majora followed.

Astral Observatory and Laundry Pool (rain) are such relaxing places to me

I love the Astral Observatory and Zora Hall myself. The observatory is a great place to get away to and Zora Hall for that iconic music and relaxing ambience.
Awesome upbeat video! Fun fact, the inn is actually a hotel, motels have rooms that open straight to the outdoors while hotels have rooms that open into an enclosed hallway. No matter how run-down a place is it's still a hotel if the rooms don't open to the outside

This was a fun video! Great idea. I also love hanging out in spots around water or trees in games, particularly Zelda games, and just vibing to the scenery and music.

I don't know how the hell your channel has not blown up yet. I have been watching you for a couple of years now. Just wanted to comment and say I support you 100%. Love your content, love the voice, 10/10 voice for falling asleep to lmao. Also great to watch when awake. Your randomizers have actually helped improve my Majora's Mask game significantly. Love the dialogue during gameplay as well. Keep doing what you are doing. Sometimes it takes time for the algorithm to do it's thing. Try not to let it effect your mood. It's not like it used to be where you can manipulate the algorithm and then base your opinion of the job you are doing on your success. You have to separate the two now. Sometimes you can be doing perfectly and it still screws you over. Just hang in there man. You're a good dude and we support you. I'll keep coming back whether they recommend you or not.

Please do this more often, you can even start digging in and talk about individual characters such as Anju and her appearance in Ocarina of time and Majoras mask. There is so much content you have with these games and people love the Zelda stuff from you as I do. I hope you have a successful 2023!🎉
Would love to see more videos like this for other games and series. I think part of truly appreciating games is looking for the parts where you can just slow down and appreciate the game's atmosphere and ambiance. Majora's Mask is great for that.

King Ikoos de Ikana's main chamber is a comfy place to settle down into bones. So would Dampe's shack. My runner up is the chamber where the swordsman hides on the last day. My number one would be below the grave in the iron knuckle chambers. The interior design in there is excellent.
When I was a kid I’d go to so many of these places!!!! Personally I loved being underwater as Zora link at great bay, that whole beach with its vibes always reminded me of going to my grandmas at Christmas time.

The laundry pool was what I thought of the moment I saw this video in my subscription feed, but after watching it, your number 2 is where I would choose to spend my time. Nearby mountains, hopefully cool temperatures and pretty far from the city, sounds damn near perfect to me.

My personal favorite would be the Waterfall Rapids, but Zora’s Domain is a close 2nd. Kinda unrelated, but this one house in Lake Hylia in Minish Cap I especially love. Water + Zelda is an unbeatable combo!

Never thought about this, but isn't #9 one of the potentially safest places to be from the Moon? Underground, fresh water, a distance away from Clock Town/Moon... and BEANS.
idk, the safest place might be in the Clock itself. time doesnt move inside it.
Bean muncher was the best prepper in Termina,. I bet all his friends thought he was crazy, but once the moon started falling he was thinking 'who's laughing now?'

Really nice video. Your view and commentary really made me think of these places in a new way. The Astral Observatory and the secret path to it always inspired wonder in me as a child. Hidden underground base of the bombers with the peace of the Observatory but still close enough to town for your essentials

10. I can't swim, but I HAVE heard that the "sound of the womb" thing is why we like being underwater, so long as we're not getting Freudian about it. PLEASE don't ever go Freudian.
9. I saw an Abridged Series of this game once where the guy made the bean salesman both a drug addict and a drug dealer. Beans are hallucinogenic in his series.
8. It is very cosy, but I've never had much luck sleeping away from home, no matter where I am. I WANT to pretend like I'm adventurous, but I'm honestly a home-body. I'm only intellectually adventurous.
7. Eggnog: yes or no? Me, YES, but not with rum. I can't drink anyway, but even when I could, I think it ruins the taste.

5. Reverse feeling for me on this one. Even when I was little, and first got my hands on this game, this song made me sad. Like, "The world is ending, we can't do anything about it, so we're all quietly screaming" kind of vibe. Hard to explain. Music explains itself: words can't do it.

1. Well duh. Doesn't everyone just want to live there? Again, though, I can't swim, so, like, 75% of this place would be off limits to me. Damn. And I HAVE had lessons, but I can't help it: my body panics in the water. It's fine if I can touch bottom, but as soon as I lose the floor, I flip. Can you swim? Open water, heights, wasps. I really only have three major fears I can think of.
