Das waren noch schöne Zeiten als 50er,80er,125er,250er 350er und 500er an einem Wochenende gestartet sind. Nicht nicht Dornasch...........eibe die alles kaput gemacht haben!!!👎😢🙏🐞
There is a good reason for the high proportion of Spanish riders in motorcycle racing. You can start racing there at a very young age, about 7 I think. There is a national series sponsored by Honda with tiny bikes with 4-stroke engines of about 100cc and four-speed gearboxes. Also in Indonesia it is possible to start very young, even younger than in Spain, with "pocket bikes" with 50cc two-stroke engines and automatic clutches, but not many people from there can afford to go racing in Europe. In the UK the minimum age is 16 and I think there is pressure from some quarters to increase it. Nobody under 16 is allowed in the pits at most UK race tracks. There was an attempt in the early 1980s to get a series going for 15 year olds; they had to have a 50cc bike with a carburettor no larger than 22mm, and they could only race against other 15 year olds and people who had turned 16 during that season. They could not be in the same race as older riders. A special exception was made to the pits age limit for riders but not pit crew. I remember they did get about 10 riders in one race under these rules, but more often three or four.
not that fast around 120kmt. tops but it is still crazy much fun, and u can put the knee to the ground full speed with ease on these badbois, i use to ride a yamaha ysr 80cc, and was among the best in the north in the 90s and 00s
Wow. Not very much 50/80cc GP racing on RUclips... Thanks very much!
Fantastic bikes and enthusiasm from Murray ❤

In 4:29 it says they make 120 mph
The 50cc was around 145km/h the kreidler van Veen I believe a top of 153km/h!
The 80cc was around 200km/h, I loved mgp in that time!
140mph from an 80cc? I don’t think so Murray
Martinay on a Darby.
Aspar beat everyone
