      Absolutely. I suppose few know that one of the great motorcycle Grand Prix racers of all time mostly raced small displacement bikes. The legendary Giacomo Agostini won 15 world championships (17?). Ángel Nieto won 13 on little bikes. Valentino Rossi and Mike Hailwood won ~ 9 each. Ángel won 90 Grand Prix races.

    Dat waren nog mooie tijden. Ikzelf bewonderde ze altijd op spa francorchamp. Zoveel vermogen uit zo weinig.

    Herbert Rittberger made his Kreidler engine to a shortstroke configuration for higher revolutions - rumourd to turning 27 horsepower and at a race him and the bike drove 217kilometer , a fairly high speed for a SCNAPSCLASS (50cc) i would say , impressive enginering

      27 PS, würde nur mit einem sehr kleinen Kompressor in Verbindung mit dem Motor funktionieren

    In hockenheim, ThE 80cc Derbi in 1987 was crono at 217 kmh....maybe ThE Krauser/Zundapp 50cc would reach 190-200....
    20 HP And circa 50 kgs

      No no no the 50cc Kreidler Van Veen did on hockenheim a maximum speed of 153km/h!,but still impressive!
      The Krauser/Zundapp was a 80cc engine!

    One advatage back then was the high - octane fuel that was avaible or maybe they used octane-115 with lead , it smelled really effective .

    I need one. Im cruising around on a 50cc mototized bike with only one gear. I can hit 45 if the conditions are just right like when the planets align. .

      i got mine to 80 coming down a mountain road. lol 5 mph up 80mph down. pretty sketchy on bicycle tires

      I have 2 - 50cc - Aprilia Classic's - 1992 - 2stroke
      1 x Stock ( on this moment in my livingroom as being a project after 100.000 miles in 8 years )

    Please is possibul one turbo the 50cc yes ho no ci c est possible et je suis sur que aujourd'hui c est possible mais il y a 13 ans la il arrête pas de dire turrrboo moi j y crois mais un 2 temps turbo ça donne un avion vue sont poie et surtout les mobylette motobecane qu on peux passer en bie cylindres ou 3 cylindres il l on fait aux maroc et d origine juste limer la ou il faut marche à plus de 150 kmh j ai vue ca sur you tub des gamins allongée sur la mob sur autoroute double tout le monde j imagine un moteur bie cylindre ou j y montrer un petit turbo tout carener comme ca sans besoins de passer les vitesses je ferait la motobecane la plus rapide de France faut juste que je regarde bien comment il font leur bie cylindre il montre tout en faite il mettent deux moteur côté a côte et mettent des Tige fileter et en faites raccordent les deux moteurs et y a plus cas monter un petit turbo de l échappement maintenant le deux temps et bien plus costeau que ceux des années 70 80 forger n exister pas chez nous pas encore c est pourquoi un kit ne faisait jamais long feux
