    What is the workload like at a cern internship? Do they pay for housing and/or travel fees when you live out of country? Thanks a bunch for all the engineering videos!

      STEMinine I am a mechanical engineering student and am just about to begin the 1st year of my bachelor degree program. When would you recommend I learn something like MATLAB?

      What year is it more suitable for undergraduate student to do a summer internship at CERN? Is it sophomore or senior year? Thanks a lot.

      Hey Steve! Akrivi mentioned to me that it’s best anytime after 1st year. Generally they don’t take students after only 1 year of school:)

      Heu Ishaan Sati, Usually you learn it in school. Honestly I would say as soon as possible. It never hurts

    Should mechanical engineers also know about Arduino, MicroController Programming??? or is it just useful for Electrical Engineers??

      Abdullah khan it's extremely important that mechanical engineers learn that. Mechatronics with an aspect of control systems is one of the best fields in the present world

    • @RiverTechJess
      @RiverTechJess  6 лет назад +2

      Hey Abdullah khan, ya I’m in fluids and thermo so i actually don’t know what programs you’re talking about. But if they’re needed in mechatronics then I would suggest learning it:)

      STEMinine doesn't this generation look for inter disciplinary engineers? Also it would set us apart from the rest. I had a question, what field would you say would encompass mechanical, fluids, some electronics and machine learning, maybe biomedical or something?

      you could move from arduino to mbed when u are ready as mbed uses propper C++ language and would be more compatible with industry standards
