The things in the green pail are homemade rekenreks - you will most likely use those for counting with your math curriculum.

The white cubes are "make your own" dice. You can put on the stickers and write whatever numbers or letters you want to. You are doing a great job.

The LED lights might be on a timer if they come on randomly. I have mine set like that.
I think you are right! I ended up just unplugging them, but I will look again and see if I can figure it out!!
