You had a chance to do something positive like raise money, collect food and clothing.
But that would require work and effort so instead you became an intimidating presence. And so now you can take your signs and flags and demands off campus
During the Vietnam War protests an overwhelming majority of Americans supported that war & Vietnam became a disaster for the United States, ruining many lives at home & devastating the Vietnamese people who were mostly farmers trying to survive. Then the overwhelming majority of Americans supported the Iraqi/Afghanistan Wars despite the reality that it was Saudis, and not Iraqis or Afghanis, who attacked the Twin Towers on that day. Who has the brilliant American public decided to back in Gaza? Why, the perpetrators of genocide, naturally. After all, the oligarchs make a fortune off of it. At least the privileged Americans have done so this time; in fact a majority of the public today has finally learned its lessons from the past, but we're being ignored because we aren't the Americans who matter.
No one university or protests are exactly alike. What I find strange is the college students hostility towards main stream media. Not RUclipsrs and trolls but legit media outlets like
an NBC. Their coverage of these protests has been largely sympathetic in my opinion. Not to mention it’s given the protests a MASSIVE platform it wouldn’t have achieved otherwise.
But when a legit media member comes up and asks a simple question - not a gotcha question - they freak out. Whatever protest hive mind they have one of the rules is don’t talk to media.
It was a mistake alot of them were making. Islam which this conflict is about cannot stand scrutiny . It cannot allow questions.

there was a dinner at the White House a few weeks ago and many of these type of protestors were there chanting "liars " to the media people as they arrived for the dinner.
