No way the “wizards hates affinity” is real right? The deck just keeps being amazing, even with all the bans it’s consistently a fantastic deck. The bans seem very deserved lol

bro astrolabe specifically was more than just skred. i saw it in any deck with ghostly flicker. there was a tron version and a bant version, they were both running stonehorn dignitary to lock you out of combat
I think the two remaining Initiative creatures are fine. They give control and decks that focus on ramping into big threats something to ramp towards. The main problem lies with MTGO players forcing WotC hand into making sticker goblin playable online. Paper doesnt have the same issue as online. I think Turbo initiative will die off just like One Land Spy did after a hot minute.
There is a lot of chaff here. As this is an Eternal format, there should be the maximum possible number of playabIe cards. I could see Cloudpost, Arcum's Astrolabe, Fall from Favor, High Tide and Hymn to Tourach all off the list.
So you play Tron and control? Those cards absolutely earned their spots, high tide was way too late even. OnT2 you can eliminate all the lands in someone's hand with Hymn.

I think all the Initiative cards need to go to keep it easier. And Sticker Goblin only existing online makes it a real issue.

Sucked losing Prophetic Prism, made Naya Zoo harder to play, and I loved that deck.
Naya Zoo was my jam back in the day! I actually played it in Modern as well way back when!
